Central auditory processing disorder and learning difficulty from the perspective of psychopedagogy

Resumo: | This research aims to reflect on the relationship between Central Auditory Processing Disorder and the process of learning to read and write from a psychopedagogical perspective. The literature review was adopted for this research in a described and qualitative approach. The results showed that the central auditory processing disorder (CAPD) constitutes a disorder that affects the understanding of sounds that reach the cerebral cortex, preventing the subject from being able to interpret them correctly, compromising the assimilation of the information received. So, the symptoms of CAPD can present as difficulties in reading and writing, slow response to sound stimuli, lack of understanding of what is heard, inattention, among others. It is concluded that, the early diagnosis, carried out by professionals qualified in the field of audiology, contributes for the subject with CAPD to recover their hearing skills fully or partially, enabling the development in the learning of this subject in a satisfactory way, even improving your self-esteem. And that through psychopedagogical intervention it is possible to obtain a satisfactory result that meets the needs of this subject, collaborating significantly in the construction of his learning. |

La revisión de la literatura fue adoptada para esta investigación en un enfoque descrito y cualitativo. Los resultados mostraron que el trastorno del procesamiento auditivo central - EPOC constituye un trastorno que afecta la comprensión de los sonidos que llegan a la corteza cerebral, impidiendo que el sujeto pueda interpretarlos correctamente, comprometiendo la asimilación de la información recibida. Así, los síntomas de la EPOC pueden presentarse como dificultades en la lectura y escritura, respuesta lenta a los estímulos sonoros, falta de comprensión de lo que se escucha, falta de atención, entre otros. Se concluye que el diagnóstico precoz, realizado por profesionales cualificados en el campo de la audiología, contribuye a que el sujeto con EPOC pueda recuperar total o parcialmente sus habilidades auditivas, posibilitando el desarrollo en el aprendizaje de esta asignatura de forma satisfactoria, mejorando incluso tu autoestima. Y que a través de la intervención psicopedagógica es posible obtener un resultado satisfactorio que cubra las necesidades de esta asignatura, colaborando significativamente en la construcción de su aprendizaje.Com a presente pesquisa, objetivou-se refletir sobre a relação entre o Distúrbio do Processamento Auditivo Central (DPAC) e o processo de aprendizagem da leitura e escrita numa perspectiva psicopedagógica. Adotou-se, para esta pesquisa, a revisão de literatura numa abordagem descrita e qualitativa. Os resultados evidenciaram que o DPAC constitui-se como uma desordem que afeta a compreensão dos sons que chegam ao córtex cerebral e impedem que o sujeito consiga interpretá-los de forma correta, comprometendo a assimilação das informações recebidas. Os sintomas do DPAC podem apresentar-se como dificuldades de leitura e escrita; resposta lenta aos estímulos sonoros; falta de compreensão do que se ouve; desatenção; dentre outros. Conclui-se que o diagnóstico precoce, realizado por profissionais habilitados na área da audiologia, pode contribuir para que o sujeito com o DPAC consiga recuperar suas habilidades auditivas plena, ou parcialmente, e possibilitar o desenvolvimento satisfatório da aprendizagem desse sujeito, melhorando, inclusive, sua autoestima.
