Systematic review: Interdisciplinary practices in Agricultural Sciences

Resumo: | The interdisciplinarity with its integrative line of action enables the transformation of contents into tangible objects of knowledge. It involves theory-practice-extension and allows reflection and holistic vision. It consists of using knowledge from various disciplines and/or areas to solve a problem or understand a given topic, from different points of view, thus, integrating knowledge and enriching the theme. When it involves practical interculturality, it is at its highest level, called transdisciplinary. Objective: To identify the publications available about interdisciplinary practices in the methodological field of teaching Agricultural Sciences. Methodology: Academic materials published between 2016 and 2021 were selected, based on a systematic review approach from Google Scholar and Dimensions databases. The search terms used were interdisciplinar* OR transdisciplinar* OR contextualiza* AND agro*. Results: 157 materials were selected, of which 43 involved interdisciplinary practices in higher courses in Agricultural Sciences. Among them, only 21 involved practical interculturality. From 2018 to 2021, materials that apply interdisciplinary practices decreased significantly. Conclusion: Interdisciplinary practices are little known and applied in Agricultural Sciences. Theoretically appropriating the theme can contribute to more coherent, engaged, and meaningful pedagogical practices. |

Implica teoría-práctica-extensión y posibilita la reflexión y la visión holística. Consiste en utilizar conocimientos de varias disciplinas y/o áreas para resolver un problema o comprender un tema particular, desde diferentes puntos de vista, y así integrar conocimientos y enriquecer el tema. Cuando se trata de una interculturalidad práctica, se encuentra en su nivel más alto, llamado transdisciplinar. Objetivo: identificar lo publicado sobre prácticas interdisciplinarias en el campo metodológico de la enseñanza de las Ciencias Agropecuarias. Metodología: se seleccionaron materiales académicos publicados entre 2016 y 2021. Rescatados de un enfoque sistemático de las bases de datos Google Scholar y Dimensions. Los términos de búsqueda utilizados fueron: interdisciplinar* OR transdisciplinar* OR contextualiza* AND agro*. Resultados: 157 materiales fueron elegibles, de los cuales 43 involucraron prácticas interdisciplinarias en cursos de educación superior en Ciencias Agrícolas. Entre estos solamente 21 aplicaron la interculturalidad práctica. Los materiales que aplican la interdisciplinariedad disminuyeron significativamente del 2018 al 2021; Conclusión: Las prácticas interdisciplinarias son poco conocidas y aplicadas en las Ciencias Agrícolas. La apropiación teórica del tema puede contribuir a prácticas pedagógicas más coherentes, comprometidas y significativas.A interdisciplinaridade com sua linha de ação integradora viabiliza a transformação dos conteúdos em objetos de conhecimento palpáveis. Envolve teoria-prática-extensão e oportuniza reflexão e visão holística. Consiste na utilização dos conhecimentos de várias disciplinas e/ou áreas para resolver um problema ou compreender um determinado tema, sob diferentes pontos de vista e assim, integrar os conhecimentos e enriquecer a temática. Quando envolve a interculturalidade prática consiste em seu nível mais elevado, denominado transdisciplinar. Objetivo: identificar o que se tem publicado sobre práticas interdisciplinares no campo metodológico de ensino das Ciências Agrárias. Metodologia: foram selecionados materiais acadêmicos publicados entre os anos de 2016 e 2021. Resgatados a partir de abordagem sistemática dos bancos de dados Google Scholar e Dimensions. Os termos utilizados para busca foram: interdisciplinar* OR transdisciplinar* OR contextualiza* AND agro*. Resultados: 157 materiais foram elegíveis, dos quais 43 envolveram práticas interdisciplinares em cursos superiores das Ciências Agrárias. Destes, apenas 21 envolveram a interculturalidade prática. Além disso, observou-se que os materiais que aplicam a interdisciplinaridade diminuíram significativamente de 2018 a 2021. Conclusão: As práticas interdisciplinares são pouco conhecidas e aplicadas em Ciências Agrárias.
