Resumo: | Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder is a neurobehavioral disorder that has consequences for learning. However, it is not understood as a special educational need. Therefore, the present study is justified by the need to analyze the support given to students with ADHD, in the municipal education system in the city of Saquarema, State of Rio de Janeiro, clarifying about the disorder, punctuating the legislation that deals with the theme. , the support offered by the municipality to students with ADHD as well as its effectiveness related to the Basic Education Development Index (IDEB). For this purpose, descriptive research was used at the Edilson Vignoli Marins Municipal School, as well as a literary review in publications, journals, academic works and articles on the topic and its relevant aspects, using keywords such as education, IDEB, Program of Support for Educating (PAE), Saquarema, ADHD, selected from databases such as Pubmed, Scielo, Google Scholar, virtual libraries, among others, as a time cut of eleven years (2008 to 2019). The results obtained were exposed in subtitles, by which concepts and general characteristics of the disorder were exposed, as well as its history as such; the legislation that deals with the subject and/or lack thereof; the city of Saquarema, its educational public policy to face the issue (Program for Supporting Educating – PAE) and the effectiveness of this registered by IDEB and the descriptive research on the Municipal School Edilson Vignoli Martins, one of the centers of the PAE. Finally, the finals considerations about the study were presented. |

Sin embargo, no se entiende como una necesidad educativa especial. Por tanto, el presente estudio se justifica por la necesidad de analizar el apoyo brindado a los estudiantes con TDAH, en el sistema educativo municipal de la ciudad de Saquarema, Estado de Rio de Janeiro, aclarando sobre el trastorno, puntualizando la legislación que trata el tema. ., el apoyo que ofrece el municipio a los estudiantes con TDAH así como su efectividad en relación al Índice de Desarrollo de la Educación Básica (IDEB). Para ello, se utilizó la investigación descriptiva en la Escuela Municipal Edilson Vignoli Marins, así como una revisión literaria en publicaciones, revistas, trabajos académicos y artículos sobre el tema y sus aspectos relevantes, utilizando palabras clave como educación, IDEB, Programa de Apoyo. for Educating (PAE), Saquarema, ADHD, seleccionados de bases de datos como Pubmed, Scielo, Google Scholar, bibliotecas virtuales, entre otras, como un corte de tiempo de once años (2008 a 2019). Los resultados obtenidos fueron expuestos en subtítulos, mediante los cuales se expusieron conceptos y características generales del trastorno, así como su historia como tal; la legislación que trata el tema y / o falta de ella; la ciudad de Saquarema, su política pública educativa para enfrentar el tema (Programa de Apoyo a la Educación - PAE) y la efectividad de esta registrada por el IDEB y la investigación descriptiva sobre la Escuela Municipal Edilson Vignoli Martins, uno de los centros del PAE. Finalmente, se presentaron las consideraciones finales sobre el estudio.O Transtorno de Déficit de Atenção e Hiperatividade é um transtorno a nível neurocomportamental que apresenta consequências para a aprendizagem. Todavia, não está compreendido como necessidade educacional especial. Sendo assim, o presente estudo justifica-se pela necessidade de analisar o apoio dado aos alunos com TDAH, na rede municipal de ensino no município de Saquarema, Estado do Rio de Janeiro, esclarecendo acerca do transtorno, pontuando a legislação que versa sobre o tema, o apoio oferecido pelo município aos educandos portadores de TDAH bem como sua eficácia relacionada ao Índice de Desenvolvimento da Educação Básica (IDEB). Para tal utilizou-se pesquisa de caráter descritivo na Escola Municipal Edilson Vignoli Marins assim como de revisão literária em publicações, periódicos, trabalhos acadêmicos e artigos acerca do tema e de seus aspectos relevantes, utilizando a palavras-chave como educação, IDEB, Programa de Apoio ao Educando (PAE), Saquarema, TDAH, selecionados em bases de dados como Pubmed, Scielo, Google Scholar, bibliotecas virtuais, entre outras, como corte de tempo de onze anos (2008 a 2019). Os resultados obtidos foram expostos em subtítulos, pelos quais foram expostos conceitos e características gerais do transtorno bem como seu histórico como tal; a legislação que versa sobre o tema e/ou ausência dessa; a cidade de Saquarema, sua política pública educacional para enfrentamento da questão (Programa de Apoio ao Educando – PAE) e a eficácia desse registrada pelo IDEB e a pesquisa descritiva sobre a Escola Municipal Edilson Vignoli Martins, um dos polos do PAE.
