Resumo: | Objective: to describe the process of preparing educational material for puerperal women about care for the Newborn. Methodology: Convergent-Assistance Research, carried out in 5 stages: 1. Literature review; 2. Construction of the first version of the educational leaflet; 3. Presentation of the leaflet to the judges; 4. Adjustment; and 5. Final presentation. Results: in the first stage, a sample of 05 studies was obtained. In the second stage, the first version of the educational material was prepared in the brochure. In the third stage, the first version of the educational material was presented to the judges, in which the judges were able to collaborate with their suggestions for improvement by registering them in a specific form guiding the final readjustment of the leaflet. In the fourth stage, the educational material was adjusted according to the considerations made by the judges and studies and manuals of the Ministry of Health that scientifically corroborate the information contained in the folder. In the fifth stage, presentation and availability of educational material. Conclusion: The nurse has a very important role in the discharge of the newborn. The educational leaflet contributes as an important health education strategy for families, puerperal women and parents and as a driver of the guidelines to be carried out by professionals during their work. |

Metodología: Investigación Convergente-Asistencial, realizada en 5 etapas: 1. Revisión de la literatura; 2. Construcción de la primera versión del folleto educativo; 3. Entrega del folleto a los jueces; 4. Ajuste; y 5. Presentación final. Resultados: en la primera etapa se obtuvo una muestra de 05 estudios. En la segunda etapa, se preparó la primera versión del material educativo en el folleto. En la tercera etapa, se presentó a los jueces la primera versión del material educativo, en la que los jueces pudieron colaborar con sus sugerencias de mejora, registrándolas de forma específica orientando el reajuste final del tríptico. En la cuarta etapa, se ajustó el material educativo de acuerdo a las consideraciones realizadas por los jueces y estudios y manuales de la MS que corroboran científicamente la información contenida en la carpeta. En la quinta etapa, presentación y disponibilidad de material educativo. Conclusión: La enfermera tiene un papel muy importante en el alta del recién nacido. El folleto educativo contribuye como una importante estrategia de educación en salud para las familias, puérperas y padres y como impulsor de las pautas que deben realizar los profesionales durante su labor.Objetivo: descrever o processo de elaboração de um material educativo para as puérperas sobre os cuidados com o Recém-nascido. Metodologia: Pesquisa do Tipo Convergente-Assistencial, realizada em 5 etapas: 1. Revisão da literatura; 2. Construção da primeira versão do folheto educativo; 3. Apresentação do folheto aos juízes; 4. Ajuste; e 5. Apresentação final. Resultados: na primeira etapa obteve-se uma amostra de 05 estudos. Na segunda etapa, foi realizada a elaboração da primeira versão do material educativo na modalidade folheto. Na terceira etapa, foi realizada a apresentação aos juízes da primeira versão do material educativo no qual os juízes puderam colaborar com as suas sugestões de melhoria registrando-as em formulário específico norteando o reajuste final do folheto. Na quarta etapa, contou com o ajuste do material educativo de acordo com as considerações realizadas pelos juízes e de estudos e manuais do MS que corroborem cientificamente às informações presentes no folder. Na quinta etapa, apresentação e disponibilidade do material educativo. Conclusão: O enfermeiro possui um papel de grande importância na alta hospitalar do Recém-nascido. O folheto educativo contribui como uma importante estratégia de educação em saúde para as famílias, puérperas e pais e como um direcionador das orientações a serem realizadas pelos profissionais durante a sua atuação.
