Resumo: Compared to most exercise and sports activities, street racing is highly versatile as it can be performed in a wide variety of indoor or outdoor environments, on lane or uneven terrain. Physical exercise is usually associated with the well-being of its practitioners. Many people who seek healthier lifestyle habits, such as controlling body weight and improving physical fitness, end up choosing the race as a modality. Among its various manifestations, the race is one of the modalities with many fans, both for ease in its practice, as well as for the health benefits and the low cost. To verify the prevalence of injuries in amateur street runners that cover up to 10 km. A quantitative research was carried out through a semi-structured questionnaire with open questions. Included in this study were amateur athletes who had been racing for at least three months, at least twice a week, and were 18 years of age or older. A total of 70 questionnaires were sent, of which 30 were viable. Eight participants are women and 22 are men. Most respondents do not do pre-employment pre-race work. Among men, 14 had some type of injury or sensation of pain. Among women only 4. Amateur street runners that cover up to 10 km have mostly knee injuries, being present in women the calf, thigh and ankle injuries.

El ejercicio físico se suele asociar al bienestar de sus practicantes. Muchas personas que buscan hábitos de vida más saludables, como controlar el peso corporal y mejorar la capacidad física, acaban por elegir la carrera como modalidad. De entre sus diversas manifestaciones, la carrera se presenta como una de las modalidades con gran número de adeptos, tanto pala facilidad en su práctica, como por los beneficios para la salud y el bajo costo. Verificar la prevalencia de lesiones en corredores de calle aficionados que recorren hasta 10 km. Se realizó una investigación cuantitativa a través de un cuestionario semiestructurado con preguntas abiertas. Se incluyeron en este estudio sólo atletas aficionados que practicaban carrera por lo menos tres meses, con frecuencia mínima de dos veces por semana y que tuvieran edad igual o superior a 18 años. Se enviaron 70 cuestionarios de los cuales se obtuvo 30 viables. Ocho participantes son mujeres y 22 son hombres. La mayoría de los entrevistados no hacen trabajo preventivo antes de la carrera. Entre los hombres 14 presentaron algún tipo de lesión o sensación de dolor. Entre las mujeres sólo 4. Corredores de calle aficionados que recorren hasta 10 km presentan en su mayoría lesión en las rodillas, siendo en las mujeres las presentes lesiones en pantorrilla, muslo y tobillos.Comparada com a maioria dos exercícios e das atividades esportivas, a corrida de rua é altamente versátil, pois pode ser realizada em uma ampla variedade de ambientes, fechados ou abertos, em pista ou terrenos irregulares. O exercício físico é usualmente associado ao bem-estar dos seus praticantes. Muitas pessoas que buscam hábitos de vida mais saudáveis, como controlar peso corporal e melhorar a capacidade física, acabam por escolher a corrida como modalidade. Dentre as suas diversas manifestações, a corrida apresenta-se como uma das modalidades com grande número de adeptos, tanto pala facilidade em sua prática, como pelos benefícios para a saúde e o baixo custo. Verificar a prevalência de lesões em corredores de rua amadores que percorrem até 10 km. Foi realizada uma pesquisa quantitativa através de um questionário semiestruturado com perguntas abertas. Foram incluídos neste estudo apenas atletas amadores que praticavam corrida há pelo menos três meses, com frequência mínima de duas vezes por semana e que tivessem idade igual ou superior a 18 anos. Foram enviados 70 questionários dos quais obteve-se 30 viáveis. Oito participantes são mulheres e 22 são homens. A maioria dos entrevistados não faz trabalho preventivo antes da corrida. Entre os homens 14 apresentaram algum tipo de lesão ou sensação de dor. Entre as mulheres apenas 4.
