Resumo: The lack of knowledge and influence of third parties often leads to the choice of saving materials that are often not safe, but it is up to the engineer to demonstrate the conditions to have a safe and economical structure. It presents first some types of slabs and their characteristics, immediately is exposed the definitions of the massive slab. Next, it is presented the calculation of this structure on the criteria and recommendations of NBR 6118: 2014: Concrete Structures Project - Procedure, incorporating basic concepts on the subject for the execution of the same. Four designs of slabs were adopted in order to carry out the study of this structure. Subsequently, the comparison of slab calculations with and without safety coefficients is performed. The objective of this work is to conclude the most advantageous structure, due to the comparative of the quantitative results of the structure where the advantages of a secure structure were analyzed.

Se presentan primero algunos tipos de losas y sus características, inmediatamente se exponen las definiciones de la losa maciza. A continuación, se presenta el cálculo de esta estructura sobre los criterios y recomendaciones de la NBR 6118: 2014: Proyecto de Estructuras de Concreto - Procedimiento, incorporando conceptos básicos sobre el tema para la ejecución de la misma. Se adoptaron cuatro dimensionamientos de losas a fin de tener la realización del estudio de esta estructura. Posteriormente, se tiene el comparativo de los cálculos de los forjados con y sin coeficientes de seguridad. El objetivo de este trabajo acaba concluyendo en la constatación de la estructura más ventajosa, debido al comparativo de los resultados cuantitativos de la estructura donde se analizó las ventajas de una estructura segura.A ausência de conhecimento e influência de terceiros ocasiona muitas vezes a escolha por economia de materiais que muitas vezes não segura, no entanto cabe ao engenheiro demostrar condições para se ter uma estrutura segura e econômica. Apresenta-se primeiramente alguns tipos de lajes e suas características, imediatamente é exposto as definições da laje maciça. Em seguida, é apresentado o cálculo desta estrutura sobre os critérios e recomendações da NBR 6118:2014: Projeto de Estruturas de Concreto – Procedimento, incorporando conceitos básicos sobre o tema para a execução da mesma. Foram adotados quatro dimensionamentos de lajes a fim de ter a realização do estudo desta estrutura. Posteriormente, tem-se o comparativo dos cálculos das lajes com e sem coeficientes de segurança.
