Variation of resistance to axial compression of the Portland cement concrete with addition of detergent as additive air incorporator

Resumo: | The simple concrete, obtained material from the mixture of cement, aggregates (sand and gravel) and water, can be considered today as the most used construction material. Seeking to further improve the mechanical characteristics of the concrete; resistance to compression, abrasion resistance, permeability, proper weight and even curing time, various materials and additives have been added to the blend. In order to analyze the physical and mechanical characteristics of Portland cement concrete, by adding detergent as an air-entraining additive, this research was started. For this, weighed and axial compression tests were carried out on molded test pieces with three different traces, one of them without addition of detergent and two of them with addition of detergent in the percentages of 0.125% and 0.250% in relation to the quantity of cement determined for the mixture. Through the tests carried out, the weight and resistance decrease was observed in an exponential way, thus, the higher the percentage of detergent, in relation to the cement, the greater reduction of weight and resistance. A reduction in the amount of water required for mixing has also been noted to ensure good consistency and workability. |

Buscando aún mejor las características mecánicas del concierto; resistencia a la compresión, resistencia a la abrasión, permeabilidad, peso propio e incluso el tiempo de curado, diversos materiales y aditivos han sido añadidos a la mezcla. El presente artículo tiene por objetivo investigar la variación de la resistencia a la compresión y del peso específico del concreto de cemento Portland con adición de detergente, con la función de un aditivo incorporador de aire. Para ello se realizaron pruebas de pesaje y compresión axial en cuerpos de prueba moldeados con tres rasgos diferentes, siendo uno de ellos sin adición de detergente y dos de ellos con adición de detergente en los porcentajes de 0,125% y 0,250% en relación a la cantidad de cemento determinado para la mezcla. A través de las pruebas realizadas, se verificó la disminución, tanto del peso y de la resistencia, de forma exponencial, así, cuanto mayor el porcentaje de detergente, en relación al cemento, mayor reducción del peso y de la resistencia. Aún se notó una reducción en la cantidad de agua necesaria para la mezcla para garantizar una buena consistencia y trabajabilidad.O concreto simples, mistura obtida a partir da mistura de cimento, agregados (areia e brita) e água, pode ser considerado hoje, como o material de construção mais utilizado. Buscando melhorar ainda as características mecânicas do concerto; resistência a compressão, resistência a abrasão, permeabilidade, peso próprio e até mesmo o tempo de cura, diversos materiais e aditivos vêm sendo adicionados a mistura. O presente artigo tem por objetivo investigar a variação da resistência a compressão e do peso específico do concreto de cimento Portland com adição de detergente, com a função de um aditivo incorporador de ar. Para isso foram feitos testes de pesagem e de compressão axial em corpos de prova moldados com três traços diferentes, sendo um deles sem adição de detergente e dois deles com acréscimo de detergente nas porcentagens de 0,125% e 0,250% em relação a quantidade de cimento determinado para a mistura. Através dos testes realizados, verificou-se a diminuição, tanto do peso como da resistência, de forma exponencial, assim sendo, quanto maior a porcentagem de detergente, em relação ao cimento, maior redução do peso e da resistência.
