Resumo: The purpose of this study is to report the experience of students from the 4th period of the Nursing course during a home visit. Thus, the importance this experience assumes in the training of nurses and in the health/disease process is highlighted, showing itself as a possibility of practical experience of how this reality occurs, contributing to the academic/human formation. It is noticed the work with the family provides an overview of the needs, vulnerabilities and other conditions and / or determinants that may hinder the prevention, monitoring or treatment of diseases and social or psychological problems. In addition, it was also noticed an impasse in the search for Primary Care services and vice versa, showing a break in the integrality of care. Therefore, it is necessary to restructure the services to meet the demand, as well as the need to respect the specificities of each subject in their context.

Destaca la importancia que esto asume en la formación de enfermeras y en el proceso de salud / enfermedad, así como la posibilidad de una experiencia en la práctica de cómo ocurre esta realidad, contribuyendo así a la formación académica / humana. Estudio del tipo de informe de experiencia realizado a través de visitas domiciliarias. El trabajo con la familia permite visualizar en general las necesidades, vulnerabilidades y otras condiciones y / o determinantes que pueden dificultar la prevención, el monitoreo o el tratamiento de enfermedades, problemas sociales o psicológicos. Estancamiento en la búsqueda de servicios de atención primaria y viceversa. Romper en la integralidad de la atención. Reestructuración de servicios. Necesidad de respetar las especificidades de cada tema en su contexto.O objetivo desse estudo é relatar a experiência vivenciada por alguns alunos em uma visita domiciliar. Ressalta-se a importância que esta assume na formação do enfermeiro e no processo saúde/doença, assim como a possibilidade de uma vivência na prática de como se dá essa realidade, contribuindo então para a formação acadêmica/humana. Estudo do tipo de relato de experiência, realizado por meio de uma visita domiciliar por alunos do 4° período de graduação em Enfermagem. A atuação junto à família possibilita a visualização de uma forma geral às necessidades, vulnerabilidades entre outros condicionantes e/ou determinantes que possam dificultar a prevenção, acompanhamento ou tratamento de doenças, problemas sociais ou psicológicos. Além disso, observou-se um impasse na busca pelos serviços da Atenção Básica e vice versa. Ademais, notou-se a quebra na integralidade do cuidar.
