Psychological aspects caused during the COVID-19 pandemic in pregnant women hospitalized in a reference hospital in Pará

Resumo: In the COVID-19 pandemic, there was an evident increase in fear and uncertainties, so the vulnerability of pregnant women to the development of psychological disorders, such as Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Anxiety, Insomnia and Depression. In order to gain knowledge on the subject, this research was applied to 150 pregnant women admitted to a maternal and child hospital in the state of Pará, so that a gynecological-obstetric profile can be traced and the mental health of pregnant women can be discussed. The predominant age group was 28 to 30 years (40.66%) in which there was the development of stress, depression, insomnia and anxiety. When evaluating the knowledge of pregnant women about the concept of psychological aspects, it was found that a total of 90 (60%) pregnant women knew how to conceptualize. Regarding the analysis of the amount of development of psychological disorders, it is highlighted that 71(47.33%) pregnant women presented stress as the most frequent aspect, followed by anxiety with a total of 56(37.33%) pregnant women, the insomnia totaled 55 (36.67%) pregnant women, 11(7.33%) women with depression were identified, there was no report of OCD and there were 43(28.67%) pregnant women who did not develop any type of psychological disorder during this period. gestational period and the COVID-19 pandemic. It is concluded that the gestation process interferes in pregnant women in different ways, and there is also an influence of the current context of the COVID-19 pandemic. The multiprofessional team must be able to serve this public, aiming at a humanized service so that there is health promotion in an integral way.

Con el fin de adquirir conocimientos sobre el tema, esta investigación se aplicó a 150 mujeres embarazadas internadas en un hospital materno-infantil del estado de Pará, para que se pueda trazar un perfil ginecoobstétrico y discutir la salud mental de las mujeres embarazadas. . El grupo etario predominante fue el de 28 a 30 años (40,66%) en el que hubo desarrollo de estrés, depresión, insomnio y ansiedad. Al evaluar el conocimiento de las gestantes sobre el concepto de aspectos psicológicos, se encontró que un total de 90 (60%) gestantes sabían conceptualizar. En cuanto al análisis de la cantidad de desarrollo de los trastornos psicológicos, se destaca que 71 (47,33%) gestantes presentaron el estrés como aspecto más frecuente, seguido de ansiedad con un total de 56 (37,33%) gestantes, el insomnio totalizó 55 (36,67%) gestantes, se identificaron 11 (7,33%) mujeres con depresión, no hubo reporte de TOC y hubo 43 (28,67%) gestantes que no desarrollaron ningún tipo de trastorno psicológico durante este período gestacional y la pandemia de COVID-19. Se concluye que el proceso de gestación interfiere en las gestantes de diferentes formas, y que también influye el contexto actual de pandemia por COVID-19. El equipo multiprofesional debe ser capaz de atender a ese público, visando una atención humanizada para que haya promoción de la salud de forma integral.Na pandemia do COVID-19, foi evidente aumento do medo e das incertezas, portanto notou-se a vulnerabilidade das gestantes para o desenvolvimento de distúrbios psicológicos, tais como Transtorno Obsessivo Compulsivo (TOC), Ansiedade, Insônia e Depressão. Com objetivo de conhecimento acerca da temática, esta pesquisa foi aplicada a 150 gestantes, internadas em um hospital materno infantil no estado do Pará, para que possa ser traçado um perfil gineco-obstétrico e discorrer como a saúde mental das gestantes. A faixa etária    predominante foi de 28 a 30 anos (40,66%) no qual houve o desenvolvimento de estresse, depressão, insônia e ansiedade. Ao avaliar o conhecimento das gestantes sobre o conceito de aspectos psicológicos, verificou-se que um total de 90 (60%) gestantes souberam conceituar. Em relação a análise do quantitativo de desenvolvimento de transtornos psicológicos, destaca- se que 71 (47,33%) gestantes apresentaram o estresse como aspecto mais frequente, em seguida vem a ansiedade com total de 56 (37,33%) gestantes, a insônia totalizou 55 (36,67%) gestantes,  foram identificadas 11 (7,33%) mulheres com depressão, não houve nenhum relato de TOC e houve 43 (28,67%) gestantes que não desenvolveram nenhum tipo de transtorno psicológico durante esse período gestacional e da pandemia do COVID-19. Conclui-se que o processo de gestação interfere de diversas maneiras nas gestantes, havendo também influencia do contexto atual da pandemia do COVID-19.
