Resumo: Objective: To evaluate the most viewed Brazilian videos on YouTube about the judicialization of access to public health in Brazil to assess the popularity, source, and usefulness of the content informed to the public. Methodology: Observational, cross-sectional, semi-quantitative study carried out on YouTube on 04/21/2020, using the term “judicialization of health”. The 100 most viewed videos in the country were considered and those not recorded in Portuguese, not related to the judicialization of public health, duplicated, and with more than 50 minutes were excluded. Results: Of the 100 videos in the study, 29 were excluded, and 71 met the inclusion criteria and were watched and analyzed, resulting in 115,342 views; 2,031 liked and 84 disliked reactions; 96 comments, and over 18 hours long. Executive, legislative or judicial bodies were the primary source of uploading videos (n=21; 29.58%), and legal professionals were the primary source of presentation or authorship. Video content usefulness levels, duration in minutes (p=0.0008), and a number of views (p=0.0040) were higher in the moderately useful category. In addition, duration and number of views were significantly lower in the non-useful category. Conclusions: The study showed that the YouTube videos analyzed are popular, have an abundance of sources, their contents are of little use, and were developed mainly by professionals or segments of law and health. In these terms, it is understood that using such videos as a source of information on the subject cannot be the main recommendation to this virtual social network user.
