Nurses' competencies in adolescent nursing consultation

Resumo: Objective: to analyze the necessary competencies of nurses in the context of the Adolescent Nursing Consultation in articles published in scientific journals. Methodology: integrative review, carried out in medline, LILACS, BDENF, COLLECT SUS and PAHO IRIS databases.  Two searches were performed, using the descriptors: Nurses, Nursing Consultation; Adolescent Health; Adolescent; Primary Care and Nurses. The criteria were, inclusion: complete scientific articles, language Portuguese, published in the last five years (2016 to 2021). And exclusion articles: review articles that did not address the theme. Results: The data of the 9 selected articles are found in two tables, where the level of evidence of them is highlighted. Among the findings is the importance of the teacher's performance in the development of professional training, because it is in practice that competencies related to the demands of adolescents are obtained. It was possible to identify some competencies of nurses during the adolescent's consultation: to perform active listening; promote and encourage breastfeeding; bond ing during the consultation; develop care plans and prevention actions. Conclusion: It was evident that for a quality adolescent nursing consultation, it should be invested in the development of competencies throughout the teaching-learning process, starting with graduation and going through the professional life of nurses. Thus, it is essential to implement training actions and guidance to nurses, enabling the development of competencies and the integrality of care in the adolescent's nursing consultation.

Los criterios fueron, inclusión: artículos científicos completos, idioma portugués, publicados en los últimos cinco años (2016 a 2021). Y artículos de exclusión: artículos de revisión que no abordaron el tema. Resultados: Los datos de los 9 artículos seleccionados se encuentran en dos tablas, donde se destaca el nivel de evidencia de los mismos. Entre los hallazgos se encuentra la importancia del desempeño del docente en el desarrollo de la formación profesional, pues es en la práctica que se obtienen competencias relacionadas con las demandas de los adolescentes. Fue posible identificar algunas competencias de las enfermeras durante la consulta del adolescente: realizar una escucha activa; promover y fomentar la lactancia materna; vinculación durante la consulta; desarrollar planes de atención y acciones de prevención. Conclusión: Fue evidente que para una consulta de enfermería adolescente de calidad, se debe invertir en el desarrollo de competencias a lo largo del proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje, comenzando con la graduación y pasando por la vida profesional de las enfermeras. Por lo tanto, es esencial implementar acciones de capacitación y orientación a las enfermeras, que permitan el desarrollo de competencias y la integralidad del cuidado en la consulta de enfermería del adolescente.Objetivo: analisar as competências necessárias dos enfermeiros no âmbito da Consulta de Enfermagem do Adolescente em artigos publicados em periódicos científicos. Metodologia: revisão integrativa, realizada nas bases MEDLINE, LILACS, BDENF, COLECIONA SUS e PAHO IRIS.  Foram realizadas duas buscas, utilizando-se os descritores: Enfermeiros, Consulta de enfermagem; Saúde do Adolescente; Adolescente; Atenção Primária e Enfermeiros. Os critérios foram, inclusão: artigos científicos completos, idioma português, publicados nos últimos cinco anos (2016 a 2021). E os de exclusão: artigos de revisão e que não abordassem a temática. Resultados: Os dados dos 9 artigos selecionados se encontram em dois quadros, onde se destaca o nível de evidência dos mesmos. Dentre os achados, se encontra a importância da atuação do docente no desenvolvimento da formação profissional, pois é na prática que se obtém as competências relacionadas as demandas dos adolescentes. Foi possível identificar algumas competências dos enfermeiros durante a consulta do adolescente: realizar a escuta ativa; promover e incentivar o aleitamento; formação do vínculo durante a consulta; desenvolver plano de cuidados e ações de prevenção. Conclusão: Ficou evidente que para uma consulta de enfermagem do adolescente de qualidade, deve-se investir no desenvolvimento de competências ao longo do processo de ensino-aprendizagem, a começar na graduação e perpassando ao longo da vida profissional dos enfermeiros.
