The executioner's hand: the mental health impact of the LGBT + population after the 2018 election period in Brazil

Resumo: The article aims to analyze the impact on the mental health of the LGBT + population, after the electoral period the 2018, correlating with the main facts that occurred in these three axes: subjectivity, politics and health. With a view to understanding the reflexes they caused due to stigmas, discrimination, prejudice, as well as the threat against their social and human rights, these conquered with great difficulty, during the electoral period. The methodology used for this work was a qualitative research, developed in the capital of Piauí, Teresina. The information was collected through semi-structured interviews and analyzed using the method of interpretation of meanings carried out with Lesbians, Gays, Bisexuals, Travestis and Transsexuals. (LGBT´s) regardless of whether they are assumed to be their relatives or not, aged 18 or over, members of a social movement on LGBT causes and who have already completed or are in higher education. The results show how the figure of Jair Bolsonaro contributed to legitimize a network of hate speech against “social minorities”, among them LGBT people, culminating in a necropolitics or politics of death.

Con el fin de comprender los reflejos que causaron debido a los estigmas, la discriminación, los prejuicios y la amenaza contra sus derechos sociales y humanos, estos conquistaron con gran dificultad durante el período electoral. La metodología utilizada para este trabajo fue una investigación cualitativa, desarrollada en la capital de Piauí, Teresina, que se recopiló a través de entrevistas semiestructuradas y se analizó utilizando el método de interpretación de significados realizado con lesbianas, gays, bisexuales, travestis y transexuales. (LGBT) independientemente de si se supone que son parientes o no, mayores de 18 años, miembros de un movimiento social sobre causas LGBT y que ya han completado o están en la educación superior. Los resultados muestran cómo la figura de Jair Bolsonaro contribuyó a legitimar una red de discurso de odio contra las "minorías sociales", entre ellas las personas LGBT, que culminó en una necropolítica o política de muerte.O artigo tem por objetivo analisar o impacto na saúde mental da população LGBT+, após o período eleitoral de 2018 correlacionando com os principais fatos que ocorreram nesses três eixos: subjetividade, política e saúde.  Com vista para entender os reflexos que causaram devido aos estigmas, discriminação, preconceito, bem como a ameaça contra os seus direitos sociais e humanos, estes conquistados à duras penas, durante o período eleitoral. A metodologia utilizada para este trabalho foi uma pesquisa de natureza qualitativa, desenvolvida na capital do Piauí, Teresina As informações foram coletadas por meio de entrevistas semiestruturada e analisadas a partir do método de interpretação dos sentidos realizada com Lésbicas, Gays, Bissexuais, Travetis e Transexuais (LGBT´s) independentemente de serem pessoas assumidas para seus familiares ou não, com idade igual ou acima de 18 anos, integrantes de algum movimento social sobre as causas LGBT e, que já tiveram concluído ou estejam cursando o ensino superior.
