Community nature and Primary Health Care: Environmental education as a strategy for social transformation

Resumo: This study aimed to understand how the discourse of the health / environment relationship is constituted in the training of nurses based on the community nature. This is a qualitative study with a materialistic approach, carried out with seven universities located in the south of Brazil. The collection was carried out based on the speeches described in the contents of the following institutional documents available on the pages of the selected universities. Three categories were held: Community / social nature and training of human resources for the Unified Health System in capitalist society, Community Health and Health Promotion: focus of Primary Health Care and Training strategies for social transformation: popular participation and sustainability towards awareness. Thus, it can be concluded that there is a need for discussion and expansion of spaces for academic and professional training in health courses about the health / environment relationship, through the community nature.

Se trata de un estudio cualitativo con enfoque materialista, realizado con siete universidades ubicadas en el sur de Brasil. La recolección se realizó a partir de los discursos descritos en los contenidos de los siguientes documentos institucionales disponibles en las páginas de las universidades seleccionadas. Se realizaron tres categorías: Carácter comunitario / social y formación de recursos humanos para el Sistema Único de Salud en la sociedad capitalista, Salud Comunitaria y Promoción de la Salud: enfoque de Atención Primaria de Salud y Estrategias de formación para la transformación social: participación popular y sostenibilidad hacia la sensibilización. Así, se puede concluir que existe la necesidad de discusión y ampliación de espacios de formación académica y profesional en cursos de salud sobre la relación salud / medio ambiente, a través del carácter comunitario.Este estudo teve por objetivo compreender como se constitui o discurso da relação saúde/ambiente na formação do enfermeiro a partir da natureza comunitária. Trata-se de um estudo qualitativo de abordagem materialista, realizado com sete universidades localizadas no Sul do Brasil. A coleta foi realizada a partir dos discursos descritos nos conteúdos dos seguintes documentos institucionais disponíveis nas páginas das universidades selecionadas. Foi realizado três categorias: Natureza comunitária/social e formação de recursos humanos para o Sistema Único de Saúde na sociedade capitalista, Saúde Comunitária e Promoção da Saúde: foco da Atenção Primária a Saúde e Estratégias de formação para a transformação social: participação popular e sustentabilidade na direção da conscientização.
