Epidemiological impacts on hospitalizations for pathologies of the blood and hematopoietic organs in the 4th health regional in the State of Paraná between 2017 and 2021

Resumo: Objective: To describe and compare hospitalization data for diseases of the blood and hematopoietic organs and some immune disorders in the 4th health regional in the State of Paraná between the years 2017 to 2021. Methodology: This is a retrospective epidemiological descriptive study, based on in secondary data, from the Hospital Information System (SIH), in the Department of Informatics of the Unified Health System (DATASUS). Results: 708 hospital admissions were cataloged by ICD-10 - Chapter III: Diseases of the blood and hematopoietic organs and some immune disorders (D50-D89), considering public and private hospitals, and all categories of care. The predominant color/race mentioned was ''white'' nº 613, 86.6%. The genders evidenced in the hospitalizations in these periods, presented similarities between the sexes. As for the age group, between 60 and 69 years old, they had a higher number of hospitalizations, followed by the age group between 70 and 79 years old. It was also presented the variables referring to the average length of hospitalization, the values of hospital services, average values of hospitalizations per morbidity list. In the period surveyed, 44 deaths were recorded. Conclusion: It was shown the need for greater care on the part of health professionals in the subject and epidemiology of hospitalizations for diseases of the blood and hematopoietic organs and some immune disorders. It is noticed, the current lack of health services regarding the prevention of an avoidable pathology. The guarantee of qualified access to primary health care for the most vulnerable populations is evident. It is imperative that healthcare professionals are aware of these conditions.

Resultados: Se catalogaron 708 ingresos hospitalarios por CIE-10 - Capítulo III: Enfermedades de la sangre y órganos hematopoyéticos y algunos trastornos inmunológicos (D50-D89), considerando hospitales públicos y privados, y todas las categorías de atención. El color/raza predominante mencionado fue el ''blanco'' nº 613, 86,6%. Los géneros evidenciados en las internaciones en estos períodos, presentaron similitudes entre los sexos. En cuanto al grupo de edad, entre 60 y 69 años presentaron mayor número de hospitalizaciones, seguido del grupo de edad entre 70 y 79 años. También se presentaron las variables referentes al tiempo medio de hospitalización, los valores de los servicios hospitalarios, valores medios de hospitalizaciones por lista de morbilidad. En el período relevado se registraron 44 defunciones. Conclusión: Se demostró la necesidad de mayor cuidado por parte de los profesionales de la salud en el tema y epidemiología de las hospitalizaciones por enfermedades de la sangre y órganos hematopoyéticos y algunos trastornos inmunológicos. Se advierte, la carencia actual de los servicios de salud en cuanto a la prevención de una patología evitable. La garantía de acceso calificado a la atención primaria de salud para las poblaciones más vulnerables es evidente. Es imperativo que los profesionales de la salud sean conscientes de estas condiciones.Objetivo: Descrever e comparar dados de internações por doenças do sangue e dos órgãos hematopoéticos e alguns transtornos imunitários na 4ª regional de saúde no Estado do Paraná entre os anos de 2017 a 2021. Metodologia: Trata-se de um estudo descritivo epidemiológico retrospectivo, baseado em dados secundários, proveniente do Sistema de Informação Hospitalar (SIH), no Departamento de Informática do Sistema Único de Saúde (DATASUS). Resultados: Foram catalogadas 708 internações hospitalares por CID-10 - Capítulo III: Doenças do sangue e dos órgãos hematopoéticos e alguns transtornos imunitários (D50-D89), considerando hospitais públicos e privados, e todas as categorias de atendimento. A cor/raça, predominantemente apontada foi a ‘’branca’’ nº 613, 86,6%. Os gêneros evidenciados nas internações nestes períodos, apresentaram similaridades entre os sexos. Quanto a faixa etária, entre 60 a 69 anos, apresentaram maior quantitativo de internações, seguida da faixa etária de 70 a 79 anos. Apresentou-se ainda, as variáveis referentes à média de permanência de internações, os valores de serviços hospitalares, valores médios de internações por lista de morbidade. No período levantado, foi registrado 44 óbitos. Conclusão: Mostrou-se, a necessidade de maior cuidado por parte dos profissionais de saúde na temática e epidemiologia das internações por doenças do sangue e dos órgãos hematopoéticos e alguns transtornos imunitários. Percebe-se, a atual lacunar dos serviços de saúde quanto à prevenção de uma patologia evitável. A garantia de acesso qualificado na atenção primaria à saúde das populações mais vulneráveis, é evidenciado.
