Learning difficulties in literacy: an experience report

Resumo: The present article is an experience report on a student's school and social life in the literacy class of the municipal education network of Barra Mansa, a Brazilian municipality located in the south of the state of Rio de Janeiro. From the guiding question - How can we contribute with relevant strategies and knowledge so that the cognitive development and interaction of this student with special educational needs can be effective in your class? - We aim to reflect and develop activities that can contribute to your teaching and learning process. For this, we are guided by a qualitative bibliographic methodology, based on education and teaching authors and we adopted participant observation as a methodology for practical research intervention. We highlight, among other factors, that the teacher contributes with sensitivity and pedagogical knowledge about the student's child development, which helps in early diagnosis of learning difficulties that directly impact the student's cognitive and social development process. We emphasize the importance of collaborative work in this sense, by pointing out the need for other professionals, such as psychologists, psychopedagogists and speech therapists. Finally, we emphasize that either diagnosis precocious in early childhood education or collaborative work may diminish future consequences so that either one reaches or alphabetical level and becomes a critical, reflective and attentive society in which he lives.

A partir de la pregunta guía: ¿cómo podemos contribuir con estrategias y conocimientos relevantes para que el desarrollo cognitivo y la interacción de este estudiante con necesidades educativas especiales pueda ser eficaz en su clase? - Nuestro objetivo es reflejar y desarrollar actividades que puedan contribuir a su proceso de enseñanza y aprendizaje. Para ello, nos guiamos por una metodología bibliográfica cualitativa, basada en autores del área de educación y enseñanza, y adoptamos la observación participante como metodología de intervención de investigación práctica. Destacamos, entre otros factores, que el maestro contribuye con sensibilidad y conocimiento pedagógico sobre el desarrollo infantil del alumno, lo que ayuda en el diagnóstico temprano de las dificultades de aprendizaje que afectan directamente el proceso de desarrollo cognitivo y social del alumno. Finalmente, enfatizamos que el diagnóstico temprano en la educación de la primera infancia y el trabajo colaborativo pueden reducir las consecuencias futuras para que los estudiantes alcancen el nivel alfabético y se conviertan en ciudadanos críticos, reflexivos y activos en la sociedad en la que viven.O presente artigo é um relato de experiência sobre a vida escolar e social de um aluno da classe de alfabetização da rede municipal de ensino de Barra Mansa, município brasileiro situado no sul do estado do Rio de Janeiro. A partir da pergunta diretriz - De que forma podemos contribuir com estratégias e conhecimentos relevantes para que o desenvolvimento cognitivo e de interação deste aluno com necessidades educacionais especiais possa ser eficaz na sua turma? – objetivamos tecer reflexões e desenvolver atividades que possam contribuir no seu processo de ensino e aprendizagem. Para isso, pautamo-nos numa metodologia de cunho bibliográfica qualitativa, fundamentando-se em autores da área da educação e ensino; e adotamos a observação participante como metodologia de intervenção prática da pesquisa. Destacamos, dentre outros fatores, que o professor contribui com sensibilidade e conhecimentos pedagógicos acerca do desenvolvimento infantil do aluno, o que auxilia em diagnósticos precoces de dificuldades de aprendizagem que impactam diretamente o processo de desenvolvimento cognitivo e social do aluno. Ressaltamos a importância do trabalho colaborativo nesse sentido, ao apontar a necessidade de outros profissionais como, por exemplo, psicólogos, psicopedagogos e fonoaudiólogos.
