Resumo: Objectives: to verify the prevalence of body regions most affected by the symptoms of musculoskeletal disorders in nursing professionals working in medical clinic services and to discuss the occurrence of symptoms of musculoskeletal disorders self-reported by these professionals, from the perspective of workers' health. Method: This is a descriptive cross-sectional study that sought to analyze the symptoms of musculoskeletal disorders in 81 nursing professionals who work at a University Hospital in the city of Rio de Janeiro. The sociodemographic labor questionnaire and the Nordic Musculoskeletal Questionnaire were used. Results: it showed in the age group that 38.2 are over 41 years old, 81.5% are female, with a predominance of 77.8% of nursing technicians and assistants. In the Nordic Musculoskeletal Questionnaire, the presence of musculoskeletal symptoms with a predominance in the neck region was verified 39.5%, followed by the lower back, ankles and or feet with 38.3% in the last 12 months, 22.2% of the interviewees were prevented from carrying out their activities and 33.3% had consultations due to musculoskeletal symptoms. It was observed that 19.8% of the interviewees reported musculoskeletal symptoms in the lower back and 18.5% in the ankles / feet in the last seven days. Conclusion: At the end of the study, it can be seen that nursing workers indicated a prevalence of pain, tingling and or numbness in the regions of the neck, lower back, ankles / feet in a period of 12 months and in the last seven days in the lower part of the back and ankles / feet, in view of the results, it is necessary to take preventive and promotional measures that guarantee better working conditions for the nursing team, in order to reduce the risks for the development of musculoskeletal symptoms arising from their work environment.

Método: Se trata de un estudio descriptivo transversal que buscó analizar los síntomas de los trastornos musculoesqueléticos en 81 profesionales de enfermería que laboran en un Hospital Universitario de la ciudad de Río de Janeiro. Se utilizó el cuestionario sociodemográfico laboral y el Nordic Musculoskeletal Questionnaire. Resultados: mostró en el grupo de edad que 38,2 son mayores de 41 años, 81,5% son mujeres, con predominio del 77,8% de técnicos y auxiliares de enfermería. En el Cuestionario Musculoesquelético Nórdico se verificó la presencia de síntomas musculoesqueléticos con predominio en la región del cuello 39,5%, seguido de la zona lumbar, tobillos y / o pies con 38,3% en los últimos 12 meses, 22,2% de los entrevistados se les impidió el desarrollo de sus actividades y el 33,3% tuvo consultas por síntomas musculoesqueléticos. Se observó que el 19,8% de los entrevistados refirió síntomas musculoesqueléticos en la zona lumbar y el 18,5% en los tobillos / pies en los últimos siete días. Conclusión: Al final del estudio, se puede observar que los trabajadores de enfermería indicaron una prevalencia de dolor, hormigueo y / o entumecimiento en las regiones del cuello, espalda baja, tobillos / pies en un período de 12 meses y en los últimos siete días en la parte inferior. de la espalda y tobillos / pies, ante los resultados, es necesario tomar medidas preventivas y promocionales que garanticen mejores condiciones de trabajo para el equipo de enfermería, con el fin de reducir los riesgos para el desarrollo de síntomas musculoesqueléticos derivados de su entorno laboral.Objetivos: verificar a prevalência das regiões corporais mais acometidas pelos sintomas de distúrbios osteomusculares em profissionais de enfermagem que atuam em serviços clínica médica e discutir a ocorrência de sintomas de distúrbios osteomusculares autorreferida por esses profissionais, na perspectiva da saúde do trabalhador. Método: Trata-se de um estudo descritivo do tipo transversal que buscou analisar os sintomas de distúrbios osteomusculares em 81 profissionais de enfermagem que atuam um Hospital Universitário do município do Rio de Janeiro. Foi utilizado o questionário sociodemográfico laboral e o questionário Nórdico de Sintomas Osteomuscular.  Resultados: evidenciou na faixa-etária que 38,2 têm mais de 41 anos de idade, 81,5% pertence ao sexo feminino, com o predomínio de 77,8% de técnicos e auxiliares de enfermagem. No Questionário Nórdico de Sintomas Osteomusculares verificou-se a presença de sintomas musculoesqueléticos com predomínio na região do pescoço 39,5%, seguida da parte inferior das costas, tornozelos e ou pés com 38,3% nos últimos 12 meses, 22,2 % dos entrevistados foram impedidos de realizar suas atividades e 33,3% realizaram consultas devido a sintomas musculoesqueléticos. Observou-se que 19,8% dos entrevistados relataram sintomas musculoesqueléticos na parte inferior das costas e 18,5% nos tornozelos/pés nos últimos sete dias.
