Displacement of the positions obtained with the PPP – IBGE caused by changes in transformation parameters between IGb08 and SIRGAS2000

Resumo: | In this work we have investigated the displacement in coordinates processed by the PPP-IBGE before 17/05/2020, when the IBGE adopted new transformation parameters between IGb08 and SIRGAS2000. The parameters Applied until the former date considered 3 translations, 1 scale fator and 3 rotations between both geodetic reference systems. The parameters adopted after 15/05/2020 not only show slightly diferences in translations but also adopted null rotations, that is, both systems were considered to be parallel. For demonstration purpose, we used data processed by the PPP-IBGE in 2016, before the change in parameters. The coordinates converted from IGb08 to SIRGAS2000 using both set of parameters were calculated and compared, and the resulting displacement was ~ 3 cm, as expected by the IBGE. Therefore, in all those cases in which the precision has not to be better than 3 cm the change in parameters can be neglected. |

Los parámetros aplicados hasta la fecha consideraron 3 traslaciones, 1 factor de escala y 3 rotaciones entre los dos sistemas de referencia geodésica. Los parámetros adoptados después del 17/05/202, además de traer traslaciones ligeramente diferentes, consideran las rotaciones como nulas, es decir, asumen que los dos sistemas son paralelos. Para fines de demostración, las posiciones procesadas vía PPP-IBGE fueron adoptadas en 2016, antes de los cambios en los parámetros. Las coordenadas convertidas de IGb08 para SIRGAS2000 fueron comparadas utilizando los dos conjuntos de parámetros, y el desplazamiento obtenido fue de ~ 3 cm, dentro de lo esperado, según el IBGE. Por lo tanto, para la mayoría de las actividades prácticas, dependiendo de la precisión requerida, los cambios pueden despreciarse.Neste trabalho investigou-se o impacto que a alteração nos parâmetros de transformação entre IGb08 e SIRGAS2000 podem causar nas coordenadas processadas pelo serviço PPP-IBGE antes de 17/05/2020, data em que IBGE adotou a modificação. Os parâmetros aplicados até a referente data consideravam 3 translações, 1 fator de escala e 3 rotações entre os dois sistemas de referência geodésicos. Os parâmetros adotados posteriormente a 17/05/202, além de trazerem translações ligeiramente diferentes, consideram as rotações como nulas, isto é, adotam que os dois sistemas são paralelos. Para demonstração, foram adotadas posições processadas via PPP-IBGE em 2016, antes das mudanças nos parâmetros. Foram comparadas as coordenadas convertidas de IGb08 para SIRGAS2000 utilizando-se os dois conjuntos de parâmetros, e o deslocamento obtido foi de ~ 3 cm, dentro do esperado, segundo o IBGE.
