Metodology: This is qualitative research of the integrative literature review type of studies published between 2016 and 2021 in Portuguese in the databases: SciELO; LILACS, BDENF and Secretaria Municipal de Saúde – SP through the Virtual Health Library. Results: The final sample consisted of 10 articles. The data were organized into three categories, which are: I- The importance of implementing Robson’s Classification in Brazilian intitutions; II- The paradox in the highest rates of cesarean in the private system; III- The reduction in cesarean rates in Robson’s group 5 from the prevention of the procedure in groups 1 and 2. Conclusion: The low use and knowledge about Robson’s Classification is glimpsed, although it is a simple tool to apply. It’s importante to disseminate and encourage research on this topic so that there can be greater imlementation.
