The problems caused by the lack of project compatibility in the executive process of a metallic structure

Resumo: Compatibility aims to unify projects in a work, facilitating execution, mitigating structural changes that occur during construction, reducing maintenance costs and constructive difficulties that may appear in progress, in addition to maintaining final customer satisfaction. When analyzing the failures caused by the lack of compatibility, ways are imagined to reverse the problems obtained when the work is in progress, however, when dealing with a metallic structure, there are more adversities in the process - since these do not allow many adaptations in its primary structure (columns and beams) as a result of its dimensioning being all planned with its locations and load capacities already predetermined, making it difficult, but not impossible, any type of alteration in the execution. Thus, this research aims to analyze the problems caused in executive processes of metallic structures when their projects are not compatible, characterized and exemplified with cases found in buildings. The methodology is qualitative, an analysis through a case study made with a single metallic building. Among the results, problems were identified due to changes in the architecture and details requested by the owner when the assembly process was already in progress, in addition to the lack of compatibility between the projects that caused rework, time and additional resources to the construction. Concluding, therefore, that the execution process should only be started when the projects are defined, with all the compatibilizations between them duly carried out.

Al analizar las fallas provocadas por la falta de compatibilidad, se imaginan formas de revertir los problemas obtenidos cuando la obra está en ejecución, sin embargo, al tratarse de una estructura metálica, se presentan más adversidades en el proceso - ya que estas no permiten muchas adaptaciones en su estructura primaria (columnas y vigas) como consecuencia de que su dimensionamiento está todo previsto con sus ubicaciones y capacidades de carga ya predeterminadas, dificultando, pero no imposibilitando, cualquier tipo de alteración en la ejecución. Así, esta investigación tiene como objetivo analizar los problemas ocasionados en los procesos ejecutivos de estructuras metálicas cuando sus proyectos no son compatibles, caracterizados y ejemplificados con casos encontrados en edificaciones. La metodología es cualitativa, un análisis a través de un estudio de caso realizado con un solo edificio metálico. Entre los resultados se identificaron problemas por cambios en la arquitectura y detalles solicitados por el propietario cuando el proceso de montaje ya estaba en marcha, además de la falta de compatibilidad entre los proyectos que ocasionó retrabajo, tiempo y recursos adicionales a la construcción. Concluyendo, por tanto, que el proceso de ejecución sólo debe iniciarse cuando los proyectos estén definidos, con todas las compatibilizaciones entre ellos debidamente realizadas.A compatibilização tem a finalidade de unificar projetos em uma obra, facilitando a execução, amenizando as alterações estruturais que ocorrem no decorrer da construção, reduzindo custos com manutenção e dificuldades construtivas que podem aparecer no andamento, além de manter a satisfação final do cliente. Ao analisar as falhas causadas pela falta de compatibilização, imaginam-se maneiras para reverter os problemas obtidos quando a obra encontra-se em andamento, porém ao se tratar de uma estrutura metálica encontram-se mais adversidades no processo - já que estas não permitem muitas adaptações em sua estrutura primária (pilares e vigas) em decorrência de seu dimensionamento ser todo planejado com suas locações e capacidades de carga já predeterminadas, dificultando, mas não impossibilitando qualquer tipo de alteração na execução. Assim, esta pesquisa tem como objetivo analisar os problemas causados em processos executivos de estruturas metálicas quando seus projetos não são compatibilizados, caracterizado e exemplificando com casos encontrados em edifícios. A metodologia é qualitativa, uma análise por meio de estudo de caso feito com uma única edificação metálica. Dentre os resultados, foram identificados problemas devido às mudanças na arquitetura e detalhamentos solicitados pelo proprietário quando o processo de montagem já estava em andamento, além da falta de compatibilização entre os projetos que provocaram retrabalhos, tempo e recursos adicionais à construção.
