Dry matter production and bromatological composition of hydroponic corn and soyabean in rice straw and nitrogen in topdressing

Resumo: | Among the livestock activities developed in Rondônia, the creation of small ruminants stands out with great importance. One of the difficulties of livestock in the region is the quality and availability of quality food. In this way, technologies such as hydroponic green forage cultivation appear as an alternative to increase animal production. Thus, the objective of the research was to evaluate the production of green matter/dry matter and chemical composition of corn and soy hydroponic, in inert substrates and N in topdressing. The research was conducted at the Federal Institute of Education Science and Technology of Rondônia, Campus Cacoal, RO, from March to July 2018 in a greenhouse. The experimental design was completely randomized, a 2x3 factorial scheme, consisting of 6 treatments with 4 replications, totaling 24 plots. The plots had a useful area of 1,0 x 1,0 x 0,04 m in depth. Chlorophyll, dry matter and chemical-bromatological analyzes were performed on the 15th day after sowing. The results obtained demonstrated that the relative chlorophyll content in the leaves does not change with the addition of nitrogen in top dressing in hydroponic corn at 15 days after sowing. The contents of protein, ash and ether extract, increased with the inclusion of 25% and 50% of soy in consortium with corn. The consortium between corn and soy did not alter the production of green and dry matter in a hydroponic system with rice straw. |

Uno de los cuellos de botella del ganado en la región es la calidad y disponibilidad de alimentos de calidad. De esta forma, tecnologías como el cultivo de forrajes verdes hidropónicos aparecen como una alternativa para incrementar la producción animal. Así, el objetivo de la investigación fue evaluar la producción de materia verde / materia seca y composición química de maíz y soja hidropónicos, en sustratos inertes y N en cobertura. La investigación se llevó a cabo en el Instituto Federal de Ciencia y Tecnología de la Educación de Rondônia, Campus Cacoal, RO, de marzo a julio de 2018 en un invernadero. El diseño experimental fue completamente al azar, esquema factorial 2x3, compuesto por 6 tratamientos con 4 repeticiones, totalizando 24 parcelas. Las parcelas tenían un área útil de 1,0 x 1,0 x 0,04 m de profundidad. Los análisis de clorofila, materia seca y químico-bromatológico se realizaron a los 15 días posteriores a la siembra. Los resultados obtenidos mostraron que el contenido relativo de clorofila en las hojas no cambia con la adición de nitrógeno en cobertura en maíz hidropónico a los 15 días después de la siembra. Los contenidos de proteína, cenizas y extracto etéreo, se incrementaron con la inclusión de 25% y 50% de soja en consorcio con maíz. El consorcio entre maíz y soja no alteró la producción de materia verde y seca en un sistema hidropónico con paja de arroz.Dentre as atividades pecuárias desenvolvidas em Rondônia, destaca-se com grande importância a criação de pequenos ruminantes. Um dos gargalos da pecuária na região é a qualidade e disponibilidade de alimentos de qualidade. Desta forma, tecnologias como o cultivo hidropônico de forragem verde surge como uma alternativa no incremento da produção animal. Assim, o objetivo da pesquisa foi avaliar a produção de matéria verde/seca e composição bromatológica de milho e soja hidropônicos, em substrato inerte e N em cobertura. A pesquisa foi conduzida no Instituto Federal de Educação Ciência e Tecnologia de Rondônia, Campus Cacoal, RO, no período de março a julho de 2018 em casa de vegetação tipo estufa. Adotou-se o delineamento experimental inteiramente casualizado, com tratamentos dispostos em esquema fatorial 2x3, constituindo-se 6 tratamentos com 4 repetições, totalizando 24 parcelas. As parcelas possuíram área útil de 1,0 x 1,0 x 0,04 m. As avaliações de índice de clorofila, matéria verde/seca e análise químico-bromatológicas foram realizadas no 15º dia após a semeadura. Os resultados obtidos demonstraram que, o teor relativo de clorofila nas folhas não altera com a adição de nitrogênio em cobertura em milho hidropônico aos 15 dias após a semeadura. Os teores de proteína, cinzas e extrato etéreo, aumentaram com a inclusão de 25% e 50% de soja em consórcio com o milho.
