Resumo: | Psychiatric care consists for many years in a treatment based on asylum care, this context changed with the Psychiatric Reform. From this, the logic of treatment to be based on extra-hospital services, and its user started to be attended within the social context, in the community. In this new process, the family becomes the main caregiver and lives with a person who was previously isolated in the hospitals. However, this care cannot affect the family environment, thus requiring monitoring and intervention with them. Therefore, the present work aims to investigate the burden of caregivers of users with psychological distress and consequences for their daily lives. The methodology used was a qualitative description, analyzing a semi-structured and semi-structured study with open questions, carried out with twenty-one caregivers, through a digital platform. As the importance of promoting care intervention policies are important in order to provide a better and quality life, in addition to allowing greater security in the performance of care. |

A partir de ahí, la lógica del tratamiento pasó a basarse en los servicios extrahospitalarios, y el usuario pasó a ser tratado en el contexto social, en la comunidad. En este nuevo proceso, la familia se convierte en el principal cuidador y convive con una persona que antes estaba aislada en los hospitales. Sin embargo, estos cuidados no pueden afectar al entorno familiar, siendo necesario, por tanto, un seguimiento e intervención con ellos. Por lo tanto, el presente trabajo tiene como objetivo investigar la carga de los cuidadores de usuarios con malestar psicológico y las consecuencias para su vida cotidiana. La metodología utilizada fue una descripción cualitativa, analizando un estudio semiestructurado y semiestructurado con preguntas abiertas, realizado con veintiún cuidadores, a través de una plataforma digital. Así como la importancia de promover políticas de intervención asistencial son importantes en el sentido de brindar una vida mejor y de calidad, además de permitir una mayor seguridad en la realización de los cuidados.A assistência psiquiátrica consistiu durante muitos anos em um tratamento baseado na atenção manicomial, esse contexto mudou com a Reforma Psiquiátrica. A partir desta, a lógica de tratamento passou a ser baseada nos serviços extra hospitalares, e o usuário passou a ser atendido dentro do seu contexto social, na comunidade. Nesse novo processo a família passa a ser o cuidador principal e a conviver com essa pessoa, que antes, era isolada nos manicômios. No entanto, esse cuidado pode acarretar em uma sobrecarga no ambiente familiar, necessitando assim, de acompanhamento e intervenção com esses cuidadores. Diante disso, o presente trabalho tem como objetivo investigar a sobrecarga de cuidadores de usuários com sofrimento psíquico e as consequências para suas vidas cotidianas. A metodologia utilizada foi um estudo descritivo qualitativo, analisando um questionário semiestruturado com questões abertas e fechadas, realizado com vinte e um cuidadores, por meio de plataforma digital.
