Analysis of the hippocratic swords in the light of principialist bioethics and Edgar Morin

Resumo: | This study aimed to analyze the Hippocratic Oath in the light of Principialist Bioethics and the contributions of Edgar Morin to the qualification ethics in professional health practice. Theoretical-reflective research with selection of scientific articles in databases such as SCIELO, Pubmed and books dealing with the theme and then the analysis of the Hippocratic Oath, supporting the narrative discussions in the development of this study. The result of this study pointed out that bioethics permeates the resolution of conflicts and moral dilemmas that arise in human relations, understanding the individual as having cognitive and moral skills, capable of acting freely and responsibly, and the principleary bioethics is based on the principles of Autonomy; Non-Maleficence; Beneficence; and justice. There is an equivalence of passages in common between Bioethics and the Hippocratic Oath, showing, in many moments, the coherent stance of not causing harm, in order to avoid the suffering of the patient, remaining fair and in this context, Morin brings relevant contributions to the study by articulating ethics as an essential element for the construction of new behaviors and attitudes, the inseparability of ethics and the values inherent to the individual; the ethics of the individual before society, professional life and humanity. |

Investigación teórico-reflexiva con selección de artículos científicos en bases de datos como SCIELO, Pubmed y libros que abordan el tema y luego el análisis del Juramento Hipocrático apoyando las discusiones narrativas en el desarrollo de este estudio. El resultado de este estudio señaló que la bioética impregna la resolución de conflictos y dilemas morales que surgen en las relaciones humanas, entendiendo al individuo como poseedor de habilidades cognitivas y morales, capaz de actuar libre y responsablemente, y la bioética principista se basa en los principios de Autonomía; No maleficencia; Beneficencia; y Justicia. Existe una equivalencia de pasajes en común entre la Bioética y el Juramento Hipocrático, mostrando, en muchos momentos, la postura coherente de no causar daño, con el fin de evitar el sufrimiento del paciente, manteniéndose justo y en este contexto, Morin trae aportes relevantes a el estudio articulando la ética como elemento esencial para la construcción de nuevos comportamientos y actitudes, la inseparabilidad de la ética y los valores inherentes al individuo; la ética del individuo hacia la sociedad, la vida profesional y la humanidad.Este estudo teve por objetivo analisar o Juramento Hipocrático à luz da Bioética Principialista e as contribuições de Edgar Morin para a qualificação ética na prática profissional em saúde. Trata-se de análise teórico-reflexiva com seleção de artigos científicos nas bases de dados como o SCIELO, Pubmed e livros que tratam do tema e, em seguida, foi realizada a análise do Juramento Hipocrático embasando-se as discussões narrativas no desenvolvimento deste estudo. O resultado apontou que a bioética permeia a resolução de conflitos e dilemas morais que surgem nas relações humanas, entendendo o indivíduo como ser detentor de competências cognitivas e morais, capaz de atuar de forma livre e responsável, estando a bioética principialista pautada nos princípios de Autonomia; Não Maleficência; Beneficência; e Justiça. Existe equivalência de passagens em comum entre a Bioética e o Juramento hipocrático, o que evidencia, em muitos momentos, a coerente postura de não causar prejuízos, de forma a evitar o sofrimento do doente, mantendo-se o justo.
