Pediatric falls: literature review

Resumo: | This study, which is of a quanti-quali nature, sought as its general objective to carry out a bibliographic survey through a narrative literature review, cataloging and collation in turn information about traumatic falls in children (pediatric falls). For this scientific endeavor, a literature review was carried out here through the Google Scholar search engine, making use of Portuguese and English languages between the months of August and September 2020 through the following search expressions in the titles of the articles: “pediatric fall”, “pediatric fall”, “child fall” and “child fall”. It is noteworthy that 16 studies were found, only 3 in Portuguese and the other 13 in English. In summary, it is pointed out here that the research found in this study emphasize the extreme importance of a multidisciplinary work in the educational scope, in order to provide a collective act of prevention and safety for children. |

Para este emprendimiento científico se realizó aquí una revisión bibliográfica a través del buscador Google Scholar, haciendo uso de los idiomas portugués e inglés entre los meses de agosto y septiembre de 2020 a través de las siguientes expresiones de búsqueda en los títulos de los artículos: “pediátrica caída”, “caída pediátrica”, “caída infantil” y “caída infantil”. Se destaca que fueron encontrados 16 estudios, solo 3 en portugués y los otros 13 en inglés. En resumen, se señala aquí que las investigaciones encontradas en este estudio enfatizan la extrema importancia de un trabajo multidisciplinario en el ámbito educativo, a fin de brindar un acto colectivo de prevención y seguridad para los niños.Este estudo, que se configura como de natureza quanti-quali, buscou como seu objetivo geral a realização de um levantamento bibliográfico através de uma revisão narrativa de literatura, catalogando e cotejando por sua vez informações sobre as quedas traumáticas do público infantil (quedas pediátricas). Para tal empreitada científica, realizou-se aqui uma revisão de literatura através do motor de busca Google Acadêmico, fazendo uso dos idiomas português e inglês entre os meses de agosto em setembro de 2020 por meio das seguintes expressões de busca nos títulos dos artigos: “queda pediátrica”, “queda em pediatria”, “queda de crianças” e “queda infantil”. Destaca-se que foram encontradas 16 pesquisas, sendo somente 3 em português e as outras 13 em inglês.
