Biopsychosocial challenges faced by the nursing team in the exercise of professional practice: impact of devaluation

Resumo: | Introduction: the work environment is a factor that generates physical and psychological stress in a way that makes it difficult to perform one's duties. The precariousness of the work associated with the devaluation of the nursing professional predisposes to iatrogenesis with patients, as well as the demotivation of the worker due to overload and lack of positive reinforcement contributing to the determination of better working conditions and quality of life of the worker. Objective: to identify the biopsychosocial challenges faced by the nursing team in the exercise of professional practice in view of the impacts of devaluation. Method: this is an integrative literature review study carried out in the following online databases: LILACS, BDENF e SCIELO. The sample was composed of 15 scientific articles published between 2015 and 2020. Data collection was performed during the 2nd semester of 2020, between the months of September and October, by the responsible researcher. Results: the findings of the study indicated that the deviation of attributions combined with issues of autonomy and professional identity generate feelings and experiences of devaluation and disrespect generated by attitudes of other professionals, discrimination and moral harassment from the team itself and users. The evocation of work can indicate both the condition for achieving autonomy, which emerges as the fruit of the nurse's work, and the realization that the workload is intense in the profession. Final considerations: it is concluded that poor environmental working conditions, unhealthy conditions, low inputs, insufficient remuneration, work overload and absenteeism due to musculoskeletal diseases are the main findings that underlie these challenges within the nursing team. |

La precariedad laboral asociada a la desvalorización del profesional de enfermería predispone a la iatrogenia con los pacientes, así como a la desmotivación del trabajador por la sobrecarga y la falta de refuerzo positivo contribuyendo a la determinación de mejores condiciones laborales y de calidad de vida del trabajador. Objetivo: identificar los desafíos biopsicosociales a los que se enfrenta el equipo de enfermería en el ejercicio de la práctica profesional teniendo en cuenta los impactos de la desvalorización. Método: se trata de un estudio de revisión bibliográfica integradora realizado en las siguientes bases de datos online: LILACS, BDENF e SCIELO. La muestra estaba compuesta por 15 artículos científicos publicados entre 2015 y 2020. La recogida de datos se realizó durante el 2º semestre de 2020, entre los meses de septiembre y octubre, por el investigador responsable. Resultados: los hallazgos del estudio indicaron que la desviación de tareas combinada con cuestiones de autonomía e identidad profesional generan sentimientos y experiencias de desvalorización y falta de respeto generadas por actitudes de otros profesionales, discriminación y acoso moral al equipo y a los usuarios. La evocación del trabajo puede indicar tanto la condición para el logro de la autonomía, que surge como resultado del trabajo de las enfermeras, como la constatación de que la carga de trabajo es intensa en la profesión. Consideraciones finales: se concluye que las condiciones más ambientales de trabajo, la insalubridad, los bajos insumos, las remuneraciones insuficientes, la sobrecarga de trabajo y el ausentismo por enfermedades osteomusculares son las principales causas que provocan estos desafíos dentro del equipo de enfermería.Introdução: o ambiente de trabalho configura um fator gerador de estresse físico e psíquico de modo a dificultar a realização de suas funções. A precarização do trabalhado associada à desvalorização do profissional de enfermagem predispõe às iatrogenias com os pacientes, bem como a desmotivação do trabalhador em decorrência da sobrecarga e da falta de reforço positivo contribuindo na determinação de melhores condições laborais e na qualidade de vida do trabalhador. Objetivo: identificar os desafios biopsicossociais da equipe de enfermagem enfrentados no exercício da prática profissional tendo em vista os impactos da desvalorização. Método: trata-se de um estudo de revisão integrativa da literatura realizado nas seguintes bases de dados online: LILACS, BDENF e SCIELO. A amostra foi composta por 15 artigos científicos publicados entre 2015 a 2020. A coleta de dados foi realizada durante o 2º semestre de 2020, entre os meses de setembro e outubro, pelo pesquisador responsável. Resultados: os achados do estudo indicaram que o desvio de atribuições aliado a questões de autonomia e identidade profissional geram sentimentos e vivências de desvalorização e desrespeito gerados por atitudes de outros profissionais, discriminação e assédio moral da própria equipe e usuários. A evocação do trabalho pode indicar tanto a condição para o alcance da autonomia, que surge como fruto do trabalho por parte do enfermeiro, quanto à constatação de que a carga de trabalho é intensa na profissão.
