Resumo: This bibliographic review study aimed to analyze scientific articles on congenital malformation of the pulmonary airways indexed in the Biblioteca Virtual de Saúde (BVS), Scientif Electronic Library Online (SciELO), National Library of Medicine (PubMed), EbscoHost and Google Scholar from 2012 to 2022. The sample consisted of 20 articles that were analyzed in terms of study design and theme. Therefore, it is concluded that the cystic adenomatoid malformation is a rare condition that varies in its clinical form of manifestation, from a respiratory dysfunction in the postnatal period to an incidental radiographic finding in adult life, in the period in which the symptoms appear and in the degree of lung development. Therefore, in view of its complexity, it still needs to be explored regarding its evolution, treatment and prognosis so that its damage is reduced.

La muestra estuvo conformada por 20 artículos que fueron analizados en cuanto al diseño del estudio y temática. Por lo tanto, se concluye que la malformación adenomatoide quística es una condición rara que varía en su forma clínica de manifestación, desde una disfunción respiratoria en el período posnatal hasta un hallazgo radiográfico incidental en la vida adulta, en el período en que aparecen los síntomas y en el grado de desarrollo pulmonar. Por tanto, dada su complejidad, aún queda por explorar en cuanto a su evolución, tratamiento y pronóstico para reducir su daño.Este estudo de revisão bibliográfica tem como objetivo analisar artigos científicos sobre a malformação congênita das vias aéreas pulmonares indexados no banco de dados Biblioteca Virtual de Saúde (BVS), Scientif Eletronic Library Online (SciELO), National Library of Medicine (PubMed), EbscoHost e Google Scholar no período de 2012 a 2022. A amostra foi constituída por 20 artigos que foram analisados quanto ao delineamento do estudo e temática. Portanto, conclui-se que a malformação congênita das vias aéreas pulmonares é uma condição rara que varia na sua forma clínica de manifestação, desde uma disfunção respiratória no período pós natal a um achado radiográfico incidental na vida adulta, no período em que os sintomas surgem e no grau de desenvolvimento pulmonar.
