Prospective Mathematics teachers’ reflective writing

Resumo: This article presents some results of a research aimed to analyse the reflective writing of preservice mathematics teachers and identifying the types of reflective writing. For the collection of these writings, an instrument called Caderno de aula com Reflexões (class notebook with reflections), in the context of a discipline of Practice and Methodology of Teaching Mathematics of the Mathematics Degree at a Public University of Paraná. For the analyses, the reading of all the available material was carried out initially, followed by a vertical reading and a horizontal reading of the productions. In general, through the reflective writing of future teachers, it can be noted that they report learning, doubts, clarifications, facts that aroused their interest, study experiences, among other things. Regarding the types of reflexive writings, Explanation Type and Exploration Type writings were identified. It is hoped that the results of this investigation can support other investigations and for the training process of other teachers.

Para la recolección de estos escritos, se utilizó un instrumento denominado Cuaderno de Clase con Reflexiones, durante los dos primeros meses de 2019, en el contexto de una disciplina de Práctica y Metodología de la Enseñanza de las Matemáticas de la Licenciatura en Matemáticas de una Universidad Pública de Paraná. Para los análisis, se realizó inicialmente la lectura de todo el material disponible, seguida de una lectura vertical y una lectura horizontal de las producciones de los estudiantes de grado. En general, a través de la escritura reflexiva de los futuros docentes, se puede notar que relatan aprendizajes, dudas, aclaraciones, hechos que despertaron su interés, experiencias de estudio, entre otras cosas. En cuanto a los tipos de escritos reflexivos, se identificaron escritos de Tipo Explicación y Tipo Exploración. Se espera que los resultados de esta investigación puedan servir de apoyo a otras investigaciones y para el proceso de formación de otros docentes.Neste artigo são apresentados resultados de uma investigação que teve por objetivo analisar escritas reflexivas de futuros professores de Matemática e identificar tipos de escritas produzidos por eles. Para a coleta dessas escritas foi utilizado um instrumento denominado Caderno de aula com Reflexões, no contexto de uma disciplina de Prática e Metodologia do Ensino de Matemática da Licenciatura em Matemática de uma Universidade Pública Paranaense. Para as análises, realizou-se inicialmente a leitura de todo o material disponível e na sequência uma leitura vertical e uma leitura horizontal das produções dos licenciandos. De modo geral, por meio da escrita reflexiva dos futuros professores pode-se notar que relatam aprendizados, dúvidas, esclarecimentos, fatos que despertaram seu interesse, experiências de estudo, entre outras coisas. No que diz respeito aos tipos de escritas reflexivas tem-se que foram identificadas escritas Tipo Explicação e Tipo Exploração.
