Pharmacotherapeutic follow-up to pediatric patients aged up to 12 years in the pathology of atopic dermatitis - integrative review

Resumo: Objective: to analyze the impacts on the quality of life of patients aged up to 12 years with atopic dermatitis and which are the main drugs used. Methods: An integrative literature review was used, using as a guiding question; “What are the impacts on the quality of life of patients aged up to 12 years with atopic dermatitis and what are the main drugs used?”. Results: the article resulted in the selection of 11 articles, of which more than half deal with reduced quality and the rest with new AD treatments. Conclusion: It can be seen a decrease in the quality of life of children and parents, also causing psychological and social damage. New alternatives such as Duplilumabe have been obtaining good results as an alternative to the treatment of AD is used when AD is not controlled by other conventional treatments or when in some cases conventional medications are not indicated. Herbal medicine demonstrated effectiveness in preventing AD, with Aloe Vera standing out due to its benefits.

Métodos: Se utilizó una revisión integradora de la literatura, utilizando como pregunta orientadora; “¿Cuáles son los impactos en la calidad de vida de los pacientes de hasta 12 años con dermatitis atópica y cuáles son los principales fármacos utilizados?”. Resultados: el artículo resultó en la selección de 11 artículos, de los cuales más de la mitad tratan de calidad reducida y el resto de nuevos tratamientos para la EA. Conclusión: Se observa una disminución en la calidad de vida de los niños y los padres, provocando además daños psicológicos y sociales. Nuevas alternativas como Duplilumabe han ido obteniendo buenos resultados como alternativa al tratamiento de la EA que se utiliza cuando la EA no está controlada por otros tratamientos convencionales o cuando en algunos casos no están indicados los medicamentos convencionales. La fitoterapia ha demostrado su eficacia en la prevención de la EA, destacando el Aloe Vera por sus beneficios.Objetivo: analisar os impactos na qualidade de vida dos pacientes de idade até 12 anos com dermatite atópica e quais os principais medicamentos utilizados. Métodos: Foi utilizado uma revisão integrativa de literatura, utilizando como pergunta norteadora; “Quais os impactos na qualidade de vida dos pacientes de idade até 12 anos com dermatite atópica e quais os principais medicamentos utilizados?”. Resultados: o artigo obteve como resultado a seleção de 11 artigos dos quais mais da metade trata da diminuição da qualidade e os demais de novos tratamentos de DA. Conclusão: Pode-se constatar diminuição na qualidade de vida das crianças e dos pais, provocando ainda danos psicológicos e sociais. Novas alternativas, como Duplilumabe vem obtendo bons resultados como uma alternativa ao tratamento de DA é utilizado quando a DA não é controlada por outros tratamentos convencionais ou quando em alguns casos os medicamentos convencionais não são indicados.
