Sexuality of adolescent living with HIV/Aids: health education approaches

Resumo: The present study aims to know the health education approaches to sexuality used with adolescents living with Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV)/Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome (AIDS). Qualitative research conducted in a Specialized Care Service, with 15 adolescents and nine health professionals. The semi-structured interview and the focus group were used. Data were subjected to thematic analysis. Individual or group approaches were considered interesting, provided that dialogic interaction occurs in a reflection space. It is considered that the dialogical meeting for health education, among professionals and adolescents living with HIV/AIDS, needs to be based on their experiences related to sexuality, with creative strategies and sensitization of those involved.

Este es un estudio con enfoque cualitativo llevado a cabo en un Servicio Especializado, con 15 adolescentes y nueve profesionales de la salud. Se utilizó la entrevista semiestructurada y el grupo focal. Los datos fueron sometidos a análisis temático. Los enfoques individuales o grupales se entendieron como interesantes, siempre que haya interacción dialógica en un espacio de reflexión. Se considera que la reunión dialógica para la educación sanitaria, entre profesionales y adolescentes que viven con el VIH/SIDA, debe basarse en sus experiencias relacionadas con la sexualidad, con estrategias creativas y conciencia de los involucrados.O objetivo do estudo foi conhecer as abordagens de educação em saúde, acerca da sexualidade, utilizadas com adolescentes que vivem com Vírus da Imunodeficiência Humana (HIV)/Síndrome da Imunodeficiência Adquirida (AIDS).  Estudo qualitativo realizado em um Serviço de Atendimento Especializado, com adolescentes e profissionais de saúde. Para coletada de dados foi realizado entrevista semiestruturada e o grupo focal.  Os dados foram analisados segundo análise temática. As abordagens tanto individuais quanto grupais foram consideradas interessantes, desde que estejam pautadas em discussões e reflexões.
