Endodontic treatment of the file26 element with fracture of the file element

Resumo: Introduction: The endodontic treatment aims to promote cleaning and shaping of the root canal, during the stages of endodontic treatment, some accidents and complications may occur, with endodontic instrument fracture being a prominent recurrent accident. Objective: To describe a clinical case report about an endodontic treatment with the occurrence of file fracture. Methods: The present work consists of a clinical case report, analyzed through scientific knowledge in endodontics, with the relevance of observing the occurrence of an accident during the root canal procedure, as well as a way to circumvent this unforeseen situation and achieve a satisfactory result. Results: According to the clinical diagnosis, endodontic treatment was chosen in a single session, which was later performed, with the presence of an endodontic accident of a file fracture, which was circumvented using the technique of passing the file. Conclusions: considering the result proceeds in the clinical case presented, it is concluded that a proposed technique of overtaking the file represents a safe and viable alternative, allowing to continue the endodontic treatment and providing opportunities for the achievement of therapeutic success.

La fractura del instrumento endodóntico es la más recurrente. Objetivo: Describir un tratamiento de endodoncia con la ocurrencia de una fractura de lima. Los métodos consisten en, a través del conocimiento científico en endodoncia, observar la ocurrencia de un accidente durante el procedimiento de endodoncia, así como una forma de enfrentar ese imprevisto y lograr un resultado satisfactorio. Resultados: De acuerdo al diagnóstico clínico se optó por tratamiento endodóntico en una sola sesión, el cual se realizó posteriormente, ante la presencia de accidente endodóntico de fractura de lima, el cual fue sorteado mediante la técnica de bypass de lima. Conclusiones: considerando el resultado propuesto, se concluye que una técnica viable de extensión de archivos representa una posibilidad de alcance y una oportunidad segura para lograr el éxito terapéutico.Introdução: O tratamento endodôntico visa a promoção da limpeza e modelagem do canal radicular durante as etapas do tratamento endodôntico, alguns acidentes e complicações podem ocorrer. A fratura de instrumento endodôntico é a mais recorrente. Objetivo: Descrever um tratamento endodôntico com a ocorrência de fratura de lima. Métodos: O presente trabalho consiste em, por meio de conhecimento científico em endodontia, observar a ocorrência de um acidente durante o procedimento de tratamento de canal, bem como a maneira de contornar esse imprevisto e alcançar um resultado satisfatório. Resultados: De acordo com o diagnóstico clínico, foi optado pelo tratamento endodôntico em sessão única, que posteriormente foi realizado, com a presença de um acidente endodôntico de fratura de lima, que foi contornado através da técnica de ultrapassagem de lima.
