Wastewater Treatment for struvite production: A bibliometric study

Resumo: Researches focused in showing solutions for the waste disposal in effluents have been targeted for presenting the possibility of combining cost-effective and environmentally viable solutions. Its application for obtaining a substance called struvite is the goal of many recent researches, fact that leads to the objective of this research, which proposes presenting processes to select relevant articles to the theme “wastewater treatment for struvite production” in the Web of Science database, in order to create a portfolio of bibliographic references on the subject in question. The whole process leads to the selection of 20 relevant articles, aligned with the theme and arranged in several areas of activity. In addition, a bibliometric analysis of the portfolio was carried out, in order to characterize and analyze the selected articles. Finally, an evaluation of the future research trends has been made, highlighting its positive and negative factors, through a SWOT matrix.

Su aplicación en la obtención de una sustancia denominada estruvita es el foco de diversas investigaciones recientes, hecho que lleva al objetivo de este artículo, que propone presentar procesos de selección de artículos, que sean relevantes sobre el tema "tratamiento de aguas residuales para producción de estruvita" , en las extensiones de la base de datos Web of Science, a fin de componer una cartera de referencias bibliográficas sobre el tema en cuestión. El proceso posibilitó la selección de 20 artículos de relevancia, alineados con el tema y dispuestos en diversas áreas de actuación. Además, se realizó un análisis bibliométrico de la cartera, para caracterizar y analizar los artículos seleccionados. Por último, se realizó una evaluación de las tendencias futuras de las investigaciones, destacando sus factores positivos y negativos, por medio de una matriz SWOT.Pesquisas focadas em revelar soluções para o despejo de resíduos em efluentes têm sido muito visados por apresentarem a possibilidade de unir soluções rentáveis economicamente e ecologicamente viáveis. Sua aplicação na obtenção de uma substância denominada estruvita é o foco de diversas pesquisas recentes, fato que leva ao objetivo deste artigo, que propõe apresentar processos de seleção de artigos, que sejam relevantes sobre o tema “tratamento de águas residuais para produção de estruvita”, nas abrangências da base de dados Web of Science, a fim de compor um portfólio de referenciais bibliográficos sobre o tema em questão. O processo possibilitou a seleção de 20 artigos de relevância, alinhados com o tema e dispostos em diversas áreas de atuação. Além disso, foi realizada uma análise bibliométrica do portfólio, de modo a caracterizar e analisar os artigos selecionados.
