Resumo:  Objective: to know and analyze the care that the nurse develops for the mother-baby binomial in the Rede Cegonha, in a city in the south of RS, in the light of ecosystemic thinking. Methodology: Descriptive, exploratory study with a qualitative approach. Data collection occurred in the months of October / November 2016 through semi-structured interviews, for the analysis content analysis was used in the Minayo thematic analysis modality. Results: The care actions provided to the mother-baby binomial are developed in primary, secondary and tertiary health care, contemplating, care aimed at the health / vitality of the concept of maternal and child health, as well as the prevention of maternal and child mortality. . This care developed in the light of Ecosystem Thinking, allows transformations and new models of action. Conclusion: The use of ecosystemic principles in shaping the Network in question, even if incipient, among the services, is essential to achieve the integrality and unity / totality of care for the mother-baby binomial.

Metodología: Estudio descriptivo, exploratorio con abordaje cualitativo. La recolección de datos ocurrió en los meses de octubre / noviembre de 2016 a través de entrevistas semiestructuradas, para el análisis se utilizó el análisis de contenido en la modalidad de análisis temático Minayo. Resultados: Las acciones de atención que se brindan al binomio madre-bebé se desarrollan en la atención primaria, secundaria y terciaria de salud, contemplando, la atención dirigida a la salud / vitalidad del concepto de salud maternoinfantil, así como la prevención de la mortalidad materna e infantil. . Este cuidado desarrollado a la luz del Ecosystem Thinking, permite transformaciones y nuevos modelos de acción. Conclusión: El uso de principios ecosistémicos en la conformación de la Red en cuestión, aunque sea incipiente, entre los servicios, es fundamental para lograr la integralidad y unidad / totalidad del cuidado del binomio madre-bebé.Objetivo: conhecer e analisar os cuidados que o enfermeiro desenvolve ao binômio mãe-bebê na Rede Cegonha, em um município ao sul do RS, à luz do pensamento ecossistêmico. Metodologia: Estudo descritivo, exploratório, com abordagem qualitativa. A coleta de dados ocorreu nos meses de outubro/novembro de 2016 através de entrevista semiestruturada, para a análise utilizou-se análise de conteúdo na modalidade análise temática de Minayo. Resultados: As ações de cuidados proporcionadas ao binômio mãe-bebê são desenvolvidos na atenção primária, secundária e terciária de saúde, contemplando, cuidados que visam à saúde/vitalidade do concepto a saúde materna e infantil, bem como a prevenção da mortalidade materno-infantil. Esses cuidados desenvolvidos à luz do Pensamento Ecossistêmico, possibilitam transformações e novos modelos de atuação.
