Implementation and operationalization of the internal center for hospital regulation: Integrative review

Resumo: Objective: to identify the scientific evidence, available in the literature, about the implementation and operationalization of Internal Regulation Centers in hospitals. Methodology: this is an integrative review, carried out in September 2020, in the LILACS, Pubmed and Scopus databases, using specific search strategies for each database. Of the 1028 studies found, 26 were selected for analysis. Results: The operationalization and implementation of the Internal Regulation Centers includes: bed management as a tool for access to health services; the work process for applying bed management in health services; and promoting bed management through operational tools. Conclusion: Knowledge of the evidence related to NIR assignments, problems and systematization allowed the composition of a structure to manage the flow of hospital beds, making this process clear and allowing to understand the construction of knowledge that underlies this process and the performance of professionals in hospital institutions.

Metodología: se trata de una revisión integradora, realizada en septiembre de 2020, en las bases de datos LILACS, Pubmed y Scopus, utilizando estrategias de búsqueda específicas para cada base de datos. De los 1028 estudios encontrados, se seleccionaron 26 para su análisis. Resultados: La operacionalización e implementación de los Centros de Regulación Interna incluye: la gestión de camas como herramienta de acceso a los servicios de salud; el proceso de trabajo para la aplicación de la gestión de camas en los servicios de salud; y promoción de la gestión de camas a través de herramientas operativas. Conclusión: El conocimiento de la evidencia relacionada con las atribuciones, problemas y sistematización del NIR permitió la composición de una estructura para gestionar el flujo de camas hospitalarias, aclarando este proceso y permitiendo comprender la construcción del conocimiento que sustenta este proceso y el desempeño de profesionales en instituciones hospitalarias.Objetivo: identificar as evidências científicas, disponíveis na literatura, acerca da implantação e operacionalização dos Núcleos Internos de Regulação nos hospitais. Metodologia: trata-se de uma revisão integrativa, realizada no mês de setembro de 2020, nas bases de dados LILACS, Pubmed e Scopus, utilizando estratégias de busca específicas para cada base. Dos 1028 estudos encontrados foram selecionados 26 para análise. Resultados:  A operacionalização e implantação dos Núcleos Internos de Regulação abarca: gestão de leitos como uma ferramenta de acesso aos serviços de saúde; o processo de trabalho para aplicação da gestão de leitos nos serviços de saúde; e a promoção do gerenciamento de leitos através de ferramentas operacionais.
