Resumo: | Introduction: Hair care goes beyond esthetic care, it participates in a cultural, religious and political identification, and can be the means of communication with the world. The toxicity of cosmetic products used and marketed for personal use has generated greater concern after the second half of the 20th century, the scientific community has warned of its risks. The biggest danger is that despite being topical, the products applied can be absorbed and have serious systemic effects. Methodology: This is a descriptive qualitative study, called an integrative literature review, it is a relevant tool in the communication of research results, facilitating the use of these results in clinical practice, as it provides a synthesis of the knowledge already produced and provides contributions to the improvement of health care. Results: Several papers were found with the proposed theme, where the majority brought the insecurity of beauty professionals regarding chemical incompatibility. It is notorious that the use of capillary chemicals made their use more accessible, having chemical crossovers in the same hair. Conclusion: The incompatibility of chemistries has become a common scenario in the routine of beauty professionals, as this crossing of chemistries is common. The importance of training and deeper study of the chemicals used in the routine of beauty professionals was highlighted, as some combinations became dangerous. |
