Resumo: This research has as objective the presentation of a didactic sequence (DS) to the teaching of soil chemistry, based on the use of the syntropic agriculture, and investigate the potential to approach the relation between science, technology and society (STS). Guided on the theoretical references, STS teaching approach, and on concepts about soil chemistry and syntropic agriculture the steps of the DS were woven. The DS was designed to the target audience of students from the second year of the high school and was built in nine stages that contain activities such as: presentation and discussion on videos and news related to the theme; experimental practices and problem situation resolution; growing vegetables garden at school; collection, organization and presentation of project data. The elaboration of the DS followed the STS teaching structure, since the proposal begins by introducing a social theme, going on to technical-scientific discussions and later returning to the initial question. It was also found that, throughout the main activities proposed in DS, several elements of science, technology and society, as well as their relationship, were inserted.

Research, Society and Development2020-11-15info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdfhttps://rsdjournal.org/index.php/rsd/article/view/981110.33448/rsd-v9i11.9811Research, Society and Development; Vol. 9 No. 11Research, Society and Development; Vol. 9 Núm. 11Research, Society and Development; v. 9 n. 112525-3409reponame:Research, Society and Developmentinstname:Universidade Federal de Itajubá (UNIFEI)instacron:UNIFEIporhttps://rsdjournal.org/index.php/rsd/article/view/9811/8812Copyright (c) 2020 Ralf Ricardo Ramalho Junior; Milady Renata Apolinário da Silva; Jane Raquel Silva de Oliveirahttps://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessRamalho Junior, Ralf RicardoSilva, Milady Renata Apolinário da Oliveira, Jane Raquel Silva de 2020-12-10T23:37:57Zoai:ojs.pkp.sfu.ca:article/9811Revistahttps://rsdjournal.org/index.php/rsd/indexPUBhttps://rsdjournal.org/index.php/rsd/oairsd.articles@gmail.com2525-34092525-3409opendoar:2024-01-17T09:32:00.212453Research, Society and Development - Universidade Federal de Itajubá (UNIFEI)false
