Resumo: | It presents an experimental activity built with low-cost materials during which the process of teaching and learning Physics was fostered to students in the public Basic Education network. In order to understand how low-cost experimental activities can make learning potentially significant in the study of Newton's Laws, data were collected through pre- and post-teaching sequence questionnaires. Thus, it could be concluded that the activity enabled students to understand the issues addressed, and provided more interaction between teacher-student and pupil-student. Furthermore, it was found that the conciliation of the contextualized class with the experimental class resulted in significant learning, awakening the students' interest in Physics. |

A fin de comprender cómo las actividades experimentales de bajo costo pueden hacer que el aprendizaje sea potencialmente significativo en el estudio de las Leyes de Newton, se reunieron datos mediante cuestionarios de secuencia previa y posterior a la enseñanza. Así pues, se podía concluir que la actividad permitía a los alumnos comprender las cuestiones abordadas y proporcionaba una mayor interacción entre profesor-alumno y alumno-estudiante. Además, se comprobó que la conciliación de la clase contextualizada con la clase experimental dio lugar a un aprendizaje significativo, despertando el interés de los estudiantes por la Física.Apresenta-se uma atividade experimental construída com materiais de baixo custo durante a qual fomentou-se o processo de ensino e aprendizagem de Física a alunos da rede pública da Educação Básica. Com o objetivo de compreender como as atividades experimentais de baixo custo podem tornar a aprendizagem potencialmente significativa no estudo das Leis de Newton, os dados foram coletados por meio de questionários pré e pós a sequência didática. Desse modo, pôde-se concluir que a atividade viabilizou aos alunos a compreensão dos assuntos abordados, e proporcionou mais interação entre professor-aluno e aluno-aluno.
