Resumo: The present article, through a bibliographical study about fake news, aims to better understand how such untrue news directly influences the free persuasion of individuals, as well as how the human reaction can be determined by the herd behavior to give greater capillarity and effect to fake news. Going through the history of the appearance of fake news, which is not an innovation of the XXI century; tracing the path by which these false news are disseminated, as well as its practical effects regarding the manipulation of popular will using a concept of psychology to analyze human behavior before the dissemination of fake news.

Repasando la historia de la aparición de las fake news, que ya se adelantó para no ser una innovación del siglo XXI; trazando también el camino por el cual se difunden esas fake news, así como sus efectos prácticos en cuanto a la influencia social, utilizando un concepto de psicología para analizar el comportamiento humano frente a la difusión de fake news.O presente artigo, por meio de estudo bibliográfico acerca das fake news, objetiva compreender como tais notícias inverídicas ou distorcidas influenciam diretamente no livre convencimento dos indivíduos, bem como a reação humana pode ser determinada pelo comportamento de manada para dar maior capilaridade e efeito às fake news.
