Resumo: This research has as objective to understand the actions that enable the reduction of self indices of teenage pregnancy and to describe the public policies already constituted to prevent these factors. The study was elaborated by means of a bibliographic and documental research with a descriptive approach carried out in the virtual data platform SCIELO as well as in national documents present in the current legal system. The result presented relates the understanding of public policies for the prevention of the process of pregnancy in adolescence, as well as a critical/reflective analysis of the fulfillment of these policies in primary care.

El estudio se realizó mediante una investigación bibliográfica y documental con enfoque descriptivo realizada en plataformas virtuales de datos SCIELO, entre otras, así como en documentos nacionales presentes en el ordenamiento jurídico actual. El resultado presentado relaciona la comprensión de las políticas públicas para prevenir el proceso del embarazo adolescente, así como un análisis crítico / reflexivo sobre el cumplimiento de estas políticas en la atención primaria. Esta pesquisa tem como objetivo geral compreender as ações que possibilitam a redução dos autos índices de gravidez na adolescência e descrever as políticas públicas já constituídas de prevenção a esses fatores. O estudo foi elaborado por meio de uma pesquisa bibliográfica e documental com abordagem descritiva realizada em plataformas de dados virtuais SCIELO entre outros como também em documentos nacionais presentes no ordenamento jurídico vigente.
