Resumo: | Teaching contextualized with socio-scientific issues focused on the reality of students and combined with pedagogical practices that encourage reasoning, critical thinking and interaction, proves to be very productive in improving the learning of Biology and the formation of critical citizens. Aim to develop and apply an Investigative Teaching Sequence (SEI) with molecular biology practices as a problem-solving tool for teaching Genetics. The target audience was 70 students from the 3rd year of high school in the city of Canto do Buriti (PI). The qualitative-quantitative and interventional research consisted of the application of a SEI in six moments that aimed to encourage the student to research and share videos; investigate paternity simulations; set up a crime scene; perform DNA extraction and playful Molecular Genetics simulations, thus becoming the protagonist of the investigative process. Students asked open-ended questions associated with SEI moments. Qualitative observation evidenced the critical and investigative position of students in the face of problematization and scientific maturation, while quantitative analysis demonstrated the development of skills and understanding of the subject. Therefore, SEI facilitated the understanding of forensic genetics, minimizing the gap between theory and practice, as well as arousing greater interest among students in the study of Molecular Genetics. |

Este estudio tuvo como objetivo desarrollar y aplicar una Secuencia de Enseñanza Investigativa (SEI) con prácticas de biología molecular como herramienta problematizadora para la enseñanza de la Genética. El público objetivo fueron 70 estudiantes de 3º de bachillerato de la ciudad de Canto do Buriti (PI). La investigación cualitativo-cuantitativa e intervencionista consistió en la aplicación de un SEI en seis momentos que tuvo como objetivo incentivar al alumno a investigar y compartir videos; investigar simulaciones de paternidad; montar una escena del crimen; realizar extracciones de ADN y divertidas simulaciones de Genética Molecular, convirtiéndose así en el protagonista del proceso investigativo. Los estudiantes hicieron preguntas abiertas asociadas con momentos SEI. La observación cualitativa evidenció la posición crítica e investigadora de los estudiantes frente a la problematización y maduración científica, mientras que el análisis cuantitativo demostró el desarrollo de habilidades y comprensión de la asignatura. Por tanto, SEI facilitó la comprensión de la genética forense, minimizando la brecha entre la teoría y la práctica, además de despertar un mayor interés entre los estudiantes por el estudio de la Genética Molecular.As dificuldades em biologia molecular desafiam os professores a buscarem novas metodologias de ensino. Sendo assim o presente estudo pretendeu desenvolver uma Sequência de Ensino Investigativa (SEI) com práticas de biologia molecular como ferramenta problematizadora para o ensino da genética forense. O estudo foi realizado em três escolas estaduais de Canto do Buriti (PI), sendo qualiquantitativa e interventiva e consistiu na pré-intervenção com questionário diagnóstico; criar situações-problematizadoras; pesquisar e compartilhar vídeos; investigar simulações de paternidade e criminalística; realizar extração de DNA e simulações lúdicas (utilizando-se reação de Polimerase em Cadeia e eletroforese). Na pré-intervenção, os estudantes mostraram dificuldades na percepção e conhecimento das técnicas moleculares. Enquanto, os vídeos e as simulações realizadas (lúdicas e laboratorial) durante a SEI promoveram interações discursivas, posicionamento crítico e investigativo dos estudantes.
