Resumo: | Introduction: This work constitutes a study on living organ donation and its significance as the primary option for treating various diseases. Currently, over 60,000 individuals await organ transplantation in the country, with more than 37,000 awaiting a kidney. Objectives: To elucidate the process of living organ transplantation, understand the primary forms of organ and tissue donation, and explore Nursing's contribution in this process. Methodology: This is an Integrative Systematic Review of scientific articles addressing Nursing's role in educating about living organ donation. The PICO strategy guided this study's objectives, yielding 640 bibliographic returns, with only 73 articles selected for analysis. Conclusions: This study underscores the importance of living organ donation due to the scarcity of awareness regarding its potential to save lives and alleviate organ shortages. Addressing ethical and legal considerations, the text highlights the complexity of the subject. The research, employing the Integrative Systematic Review method, reveals gaps in public understanding, emphasizing the necessity for accurate and comprehensive information. The nurse's role in patient education and support is emphasized. Further investigation into the donation process is suggested, alongside the promotion of precise information through hospital and family health settings via lectures and educational sessions. |

Objetivos: Clarificar el proceso de trasplante en vida, comprender las principales formas de donación de órganos y tejidos, y analizar la contribución de la Enfermería en este proceso. Metodología: Se trata de una Revisión Sistemática Integrativa de artículos científicos que abordan el papel de la Enfermería en la educación sobre la donación en vida. Se empleó la estrategia PICO para guiar los objetivos del estudio. Se obtuvieron 640 estudios bibliográficos, seleccionándose únicamente 73 artículos para este análisis. Conclusiones: Este estudio subraya la importancia de la donación de órganos en vida debido a la escasez de conocimiento sobre su potencial para salvar vidas y reducir la lista de espera de órganos. Al abordar consideraciones éticas y legales, el texto resalta la complejidad del tema. La investigación, utilizando el método de Revisión Integrativa Sistemática, revela lagunas en el entendimiento público, enfatizando la necesidad de información precisa y completa. Se destaca el papel crucial de la enfermería en la educación y apoyo a los pacientes. Se sugiere investigar más detalladamente el proceso de donación y promover información precisa a través de charlas en contextos hospitalarios y de atención familiar.Introdução: O presente trabalho é um estudo a respeito do transplante de órgãos em inter vivos e sua importância com primeira opção para tratamento de diversas doenças, visto que, atualmente, mais de 60 mil indivíduos aguardam por um órgão para transplante no país, sendo que mais de 37 mil estão à espera de um rim. Objetivos: Esclarecer sobre o processo de transplante em inter vivos, compreender as principais formas de doação de órgãos e tecidos e a contribuição da Enfermagem neste processo. Metodologia: Trata-se de uma Revisão Sistemática Integrativa, de artigos científicos que abordam a importância da Enfermagem na educação sobre doação em inter vivos. Utilizou-se a estratégia PICO que norteou os objetivos deste estudo. E obtivemos como retorno bibliográfico 640 estudos, sendo selecionado para este estudo apenas 73 artigos. Considerações finais: Este estudo destaca a importância da doação de órgãos em vida devido à escassez de conhecimento sobre seu potencial para salvar vidas e reduzir a fila de espera por órgãos. Abordando considerações éticas e legais, o texto ressalta a complexidade do tema. A pesquisa usando o método de Revisão Integrativa Sistemática revela lacunas no entendimento público, enfatizando a necessidade de informação correta e ampliada. Destaca-se a importância do enfermeiro na educação e suporte aos pacientes.
