The incidence of tuberculosis cases in the municipality of Santarém, from 2018 to 2020

Resumo: | Tuberculosis (TB) is an infectious and transmissible disease of social evidence being considered a serious public health problem. The objective is to analyze the incidence of TB cases in the city of Santarém, from 2018 to 2020, outlining the profile of those affected by tuberculosis, analyzing the diseases associated with TB. Field research, with a quantitative approach, developed at the Municipal Secretariat of Santarém - SEMSA through the database of the Notifiable Diseases Information System - SINAN, target population notified cases with TB in the period 2018 to 2020. In 2018 to 2020, 575 TB cases were registered in Santarém, with a proportion of 58 cases/100,000 inhabitants. Regarding the profile of those affected, it was observed that in 2019 there was an increase in cases in the age group from 0 to 14 years compared to other years, whereas in the age group of 15 years or more there was a reduction in cases in 2019, there was an increase in this quantitative in 2020. Regarding schooling, the highest prevalence in students from 1st to 4th grade of incomplete primary education, with males being more affected. The most common problems are people who drink, are diabetic, HIV positive and smokers. As a result, the municipality of Santarém has an incidence rate above the national average, and for this reason it is important to develop strategies to fight TB, emphasizing the implementation of educational actions and professional training to serve this public. |

El objetivo es analizar la incidencia de casos de TB en la ciudad de Santarém, de 2018 a 2020, delineando el perfil de los afectados por la tuberculosis, analizando las enfermedades asociadas a la TB. Investigación de campo, con enfoque cuantitativo, desarrollada en la Secretaría Municipal de Santarém - SEMSA a través de la base de datos del Sistema de Información de Enfermedades Notificables - SINAN, población objetivo notificados casos con TB en el período 2018 a 2020. En 2018 a 2020, 575 casos de TB se registraron en Santarém, con una proporción de 58 casos / 100.000 habitantes. En cuanto al perfil de los afectados, se observó que en 2019 hubo un aumento de casos en el grupo de edad de 0 a 14 años respecto a otros años, mientras que en el grupo de edad de 15 años o más hubo una reducción de casos en En 2019, hubo un aumento de este cuantitativo en 2020. En cuanto a la escolaridad, la mayor prevalencia en estudiantes de 1 ° a 4 ° grado de educación primaria incompleta, siendo los varones más afectados. Los problemas más comunes son las personas que beben, son diabéticos, seropositivos y fumadores. Como resultado, el municipio de Santarém tiene una tasa de incidencia por encima de la media nacional, por lo que es importante desarrollar estrategias de lucha contra la tuberculosis, haciendo énfasis en la implementación de acciones educativas y de formación profesional para atender a este público.A Tuberculose (TB) é uma doença infecciosa e transmissível de evidência social sendo considerada um grave problema de saúde pública. Objetiva - se analisar a incidência de casos da TB no município de Santarém, no período de 2018 a 2020, traçando o perfil dos acometidos por tuberculose, analisando os agravos associados a TB. Pesquisa de campo, com abordagem quantitativa, desenvolvida na Secretaria Municipal de Santarém – SEMSA através da base de dados do Sistema de Informação de Agravos de Notificação – SINAN, população alvo os casos notificados com TB no período de 2018 a 2020. Nos anos de 2018 a 2020 foram registrados em Santarém 575 casos de TB, tendo uma proporção de 58 casos/100.000 habitantes. Quanto ao perfil dos acometidos observou-se que em 2019 houve aumento de casos na faixa etária de 0 a 14 anos comparado aos outros anos, já na faixa etária de 15 anos ou mais houve a redução dos casos no ano de 2019, houve aumento nesse quantitativo em 2020. Acerca da escolaridade a maior prevalência em estudantes de 1ª a 4ª do ensino fundamental incompleto, sendo o sexo masculino mais afetado. Os agravos com maior são em frequência pessoas etilistas, diabéticas, soropositivas para HIV e tabagistas.
