Reception and flow of patients with mental disorders in Primary Care: experience report

Resumo: | Introduction: With the increase in the number of patients with mental disorders, the prevalence of care in health units rises. In this context, primary care professionals are responsible for welcoming and directing the flows of these users when necessary. Objective: To report the experience on the development and implementation of the booklet on reception and flows of these users as educational material for Primary Care Health professionals. Methods: This is a descriptive experience report of a resident of the Multiprofessional Family and Community Health Program (ESCS), where an intervention was carried out in a Health Unit located in the Federal District, following the assumptions of the Arch of Maguerez. Results and Discussion: Primary health care works as a gateway into the health system for users who have some psychological disorder, it is the privileged space for welcoming people who are in acute suffering and for building a longitudinal bond. It takes a constant exercise of self-assessment by professionals to avoid framing these users in stereotypes, always remembering that they are in a fragile situation and need to be taken care of, situations related to the field of mental health are among those that require the most effort from the team. for timely problem perception and decision making. Conclusion: The booklet has become a strategy that aims to carry out health education, which can be used as support material by any health professional assisting in the care of the user. |

En este contexto, los profesionales de atención primaria son los encargados de acoger y orientar los flujos de estos usuarios cuando sea necesario. Objetivo: Relatar la experiencia sobre el desarrollo e implementación de la cartilla sobre acogida y flujos de estos usuarios como material educativo para los profesionales de Atención Primaria de Salud. Métodos: Se trata de un relato de experiencia descriptivo de una residente del Programa Multiprofesional de Salud Familiar y Comunitaria (ESCS), donde se realizó una intervención en una Unidad de Salud ubicada en el Distrito Federal, siguiendo los presupuestos del Arco de Maguerez. Resultados y Discusión: La Atención Primaria de Salud funciona como puerta de entrada al sistema de salud para los usuarios que presentan algún trastorno psíquico, es el espacio privilegiado para acoger a las personas que se encuentran en agudo sufrimiento y para la construcción de un vínculo longitudinal. Es necesario un ejercicio constante de autoevaluación por parte de los profesionales para evitar enmarcar a estos usuarios en estereotipos, recordando siempre que se encuentran en una situación frágil y necesitan ser atendidos, situaciones relacionadas con el campo de la salud mental se encuentran entre las que requieren la el mayor esfuerzo del equipo para la percepción oportuna del problema y la toma de decisiones. Conclusión: La cartilla se ha convertido en una estrategia que tiene como objetivo realizar educación en salud, que puede ser utilizada como material de apoyo por cualquier profesional de la salud que ayude en la atención del usuario.Introdução: Com o aumento do número de pacientes com transtornos mentais, consequentemente eleva-se a prevalência dos atendimentos nas unidades de saúde. Neste contexto, os profissionais da atenção primária são os responsáveis por prestar um acolhimento e direcionar os fluxos desses usuários quando necessário. Objetivo: Relatar a experiência sobre o desenvolvimento e implementação da cartilha sobre acolhimento e fluxos desses usuários como material educativo para os profissionais de Saúde da Atenção Primária. Métodos: Trata-se de um relato de experiência do tipo descritivo de uma residente do Programa Multiprofissional de Saúde da Família e Comunidade (ESCS), onde foi realizada uma intervenção em uma Unidade de Saúde localizada no Distrito Federal, seguindo os pressupostos do Arco de Maguerez. Resultados e Discussão: A atenção primária à saúde funciona como porta de entrada no sistema de saúde aos usuários que possuem algum transtorno psíquico, é o espaço privilegiado para o acolhimento à pessoa que está em sofrimento agudo e para construção de vínculo longitudinal. É preciso um constante exercício de auto avaliação dos profissionais para evitar enquadrar esses usuários em estereótipos, lembrando sempre que esses se encontram em situação de fragilidade e necessitam ser cuidados, as situações referentes ao campo da saúde mental estão entre aquelas que mais exigem esforço da equipe para a percepção oportuna do problema e a tomada de decisão.
