Resumo: Objective: To develop and validate a previously constructed instrument to assess communication and humanization with patients' relatives and family physician relationships, during the medical report, in the context of the Intensive Care Unit. Methodology: This is methodological research, with a quantitative and qualitative approach, carried out in 2020 and 2021. After the instrument was developed, the Delphi Technique was used to validate the content with the participation of eight experts. Data collection took place through interviews and questionnaires. In the data analysis, the Content Validity Index was calculated with a minimum agreement rate of 0.70. Results: The items that composed the instrument in relation to the issuer were: aspect of the professional, compliance and identification of the family, behavior of the doctor according to the reactions of the family members due to the great emotional burden, optimization of the consultation time, the doctor's behavior during the consultation; to the receiver were: in case of patients incapable of decision, before the family; to the message were: information directed to the legal representative, regarding the information passed, control over the posture; to the environment were: characteristics of the environment, confidentiality and privacy during the conversation. Conclusion: All items had a CVI greater than 0.70. The instrument is able to assess what it proposes and how promising its application is in communication actions and doctor-patient relationships.

Metodología: Se trata de una investigación metodológica, con enfoque cuantitativo y cualitativo, realizada en los años 2020 y 2021. Luego de desarrollado el instrumento, se utilizó la Técnica Delphi para la validación de contenido con la participación de ocho expertos. La recolección de datos se llevó a cabo a través de entrevistas y cuestionarios. En el análisis de datos se calculó el Índice de Validez de Contenido con una tasa mínima de concordancia de 0,70. Resultados: Los ítems que compusieron el instrumento en relación al emisor fueron: aspecto del profesional, cumplimiento e identificación de la familia, comportamiento del médico de acuerdo a las reacciones de los familiares ante la gran carga emocional, optimización de la consulta tiempo, el comportamiento del médico durante la consulta; al síndico eran: en caso de pacientes incapaces de decisión, ante la familia; al mensaje fueron: información dirigida al representante legal, respecto a la información pasada, control sobre la postura; al ambiente fueron: características del ambiente, confidencialidad y privacidad durante la conversación. Conclusión: Todos los ítems tuvieron un CVI superior a 0,70. El instrumento es capaz de evaluar lo que propone y cuán prometedora es su aplicación en acciones de comunicación y relaciones médico-paciente.Objetivo: Elaborar e validar um instrumento previamente construído para avaliação da comunicação e humanização frente a familiares de pacientes e relação médico familiar, durante o boletim médico, no contexto da Unidade de Terapia Intensiva. Metodologia: Trata-se de pesquisa metodológica, com abordagem quantitativa e qualitativa, realizada em 2020 e 2021. Após o desenvolvimento do instrumento, para a validação do conteúdo empregou-se a Técnica Delphi com participação de oito especialistas. A coleta de dados se deu por meio de entrevista e aplicação de questionário. Na análise dos dados foi calculado o Índice de Validade de Conteúdo com taxa de concordância mínima de 0,70. Resultados: Os itens que compuseram o instrumento em relação ao emissor foram: aspecto do profissional, cumprimento e identificação da família, comportamento do médico de acordo com às reações dos familiares devido à grande carga emocional, otimização do tempo da consulta, o comportamento do médico durante a consulta; ao receptor foram: em caso de pacientes incapazes de decisão, perante a família; à mensagem foram: informações direcionadas ao representante legal, quanto às informações passadas, controle sobre a postura; ao ambiente foram: características do ambiente, confidencialidade e privacidade durante a conversa. Conclusão: Todos os itens obtiveram IVC maior que 0,70.
