“Nothing about us without us”: the Specialized Educational Care in the high school based on the perception of students of Special Education

Resumo: The present study aims to analyze the perception students of special education, enrolled in a high school, about the specialized educational care and its articulation with the common classroom regarding its process of school inclusion. To this end, an exploratory-qualitative study was conducted in a state public high school located in the city of Iguatu/CE that includes special education. The data were collected through the interview recorded in audio format with twelve students of this modality enrolled in the school, being the data analyzed by approximation of the speech analysis. The results indicate a weakening of the process of school inclusion of these students in the common school, where the pecialized educational care, sometimes, is put in substitution to the common education, which goes in the opposite direction to the established by the legislation.

Con este fin, se realizó un estudio exploratorio-cualitativo en una escuela secundaria pública estatal ubicada en la ciudad de Iguatu/CE que tiene la modalidad de educación especial. Los datos fueron recolectados a través de la entrevista grabada en formato de audio con doce estudiantes de esta modalidad matriculados en la escuela, siendo analizados por aproximación del análisis del discurso. Los resultados indican un debilitamiento del proceso de inclusión escolar de estos estudiantes en la escuela común, donde la asistencia educativa especializada, a veces, se sustituye a la educación común, que va en la dirección opuesta a la establecida por la legislación.O presente estudo tem como objetivo analisar a percepção de estudantes público-alvo da Educação Especial, matriculados em uma escola comum de ensino médio, acerca do Atendimento Educacional Especializado e sua articulação com a sala de aula comum frente ao seu processo de inclusão escolar. Para tal, realizou-se um estudo exploratório-qualitativo em uma escola pública estadual de ensino médio localizada no município de Iguatu/CE que contempla a Educação Especial. Os dados foram coletados através da entrevista semiestruturada gravada em formato de áudio junto a doze estudantes desta modalidade matriculados na escola, sendo os dados analisados por aproximação da análise de discurso.
