Resumo: | The information age has brought more practicality in the way of dealing with data, increasing the use of technological resources. This new context has led to the emergence of new illegal activities such as digital crimes. In order to combat cybercrime, Forensic Science has evolved, with the addition of computer knowledge and the creation of the then Digital Forensic Science. To be successful in this mission, it is essential that Forensic Digital is always evolving and updating techniques through research and development of technological tools. With this work, the objective was to explore the current stage of scientific and technological development of Forensic Digital, by mapping the production of articles and patent deposits in the area. The Web of Science and Derwent Innovations Index databases were used to collect scientific and technological data, which were analyzed, giving them broader meanings, linked to the theoretical foundation. With the results it is pointed out that research has increased in the last decade with publications in several countries. However, there are still difficulties with the technologies, being developed mainly by individuals and companies. Thus, it is believed that the approximation between science and technology is essential for further advances in this area. |

Este nuevo contexto ha propiciado la aparición de nuevas actividades ilegales como los delitos digitales. Para combatir el ciberdelito, la ciencia forense ha evolucionado, con la incorporación del conocimiento informático y la creación de la entonces ciencia forense digital. Para tener éxito en esta misión, es fundamental que Forensic Digital esté siempre evolucionando y actualizando técnicas a través de la investigación y el desarrollo de herramientas tecnológicas. Con este trabajo, el objetivo fue explorar la etapa actual de desarrollo científico y tecnológico de Forensic Digital, mediante el mapeo de la producción de artículos y depósitos de patentes en el área. Las bases de datos Web of Science y Derwent Innovations Index se utilizaron para recopilar datos científicos y tecnológicos, que fueron analizados, dándoles significados más amplios, vinculados a la base teórica. Con los resultados se señala que la investigación se ha incrementado en la última década con publicaciones en varios países. Sin embargo, todavía existen dificultades con las tecnologías, desarrolladas principalmente por particulares y empresas. Por tanto, se cree que la aproximación entre ciencia y tecnología es fundamental para seguir avanzando en esta área.A era da informação trouxe mais praticidade na forma de lidar com os dados, aumentando o uso de recursos tecnológicos. Esse novo contexto levou ao surgimento de novas atividades ilegais como os crimes digitais. Visando combater os cibercrimes, a Ciência Forense evoluiu, com adesão de conhecimentos da Computação e criação da então Ciência Forense Digital. Para ter êxito nessa missão, é indispensável que a Forense Digital esteja sempre em evolução e atualização das técnicas por meio de pesquisas e desenvolvimento de ferramentas tecnológicas. Com este trabalho se teve o objetivo de prospectar o atual estágio de desenvolvimento científico e tecnológico da Forense Digital, mediante o mapeamento da produção de artigos e dos depósitos de patentes na área. As bases Web of Science e Derwent Innovations Index foram utilizadas para coleta dos dados científicos e tecnológicos, os quais foram analisados, atribuindo-lhes significados mais amplos, vinculados à fundamentação teórica. Com os resultados aponta-se que as pesquisas têm aumentado na última década com publicações em vários países. No entanto, ainda existem dificuldades com as tecnologias, sendo desenvolvidas principalmente por pessoas físicas e empresas.
