Resumo: | Introduction: Covid-19 is a viral disease that has reached the entire world and has become a concern for the health of the population, due to the high rates of deaths. As in Brazil the states are divided by health regions, this study aimed to analyze the profile of Covid-19 deaths in the health regions of the state of Pará. Method: This is a descriptive, retrospective research with a quantitative approach, whose data were collected from the digital platform of the SESPA. The study population was all confirmed Covid-19 deaths registered in the health regions of the state of Pará. Results: 14,864 deaths were registered in the state of Pará by Covid-19, and of the 13 health regions, the one with the most deaths was Metropolitan I. In general, the most affected age group was between 60 and 80 years or more, and males had the highest death rate with 59.14%. Conclusion: It was observed that the regional of the state capital, the one that presented the most deaths in the period of 1 year, and men are the sex that died most from Covid-19. |

Como en Brasil los estados están divididos por regiones sanitarias, este estudio tuvo como objetivo analizar el perfil de las muertes por Covid-19 en las regiones sanitarias del estado de Pará. Método: Se trata de una investigación descriptiva y retrospectiva con un enfoque cuantitativo, cuyos datos se recogieron de la plataforma digital del SESPA. La población de estudio fueron todas las muertes confirmadas por Covid-19 y que están registradas en las regiones sanitarias del estado de Pará. Resultados: Se registraron en el estado de Pará 14.864 óbitos por la Covid-19, siendo las 13 regiones de salud, la que tuvo el mayor número de óbitos fue la Metropolitana I. En general, la franja étnica más acometida fue la de 60 a 80 años o más, siendo el sexo masculino el que tuvo el mayor índice de mortalidad con un 59,14%. Conclusión: Se observó que la regional de la capital del estado, es la que presentó más muertes en el período de 1 año, y los hombres son el sexo que más murió por Covid-19.Introdução: A Covid-19 é uma doença viral que atingiu o mundo inteiro e se tornou uma preocupação para a saúde da população, devido os altos índices de mortes. Como no Brasil os estados são divididos por regionais de saúde, esse estudo teve como objetivo analisar o perfil dos óbitos por Covid-19 nas regionais de saúde do estado do Pará. Método: Trata-se de uma pesquisa descritiva, retrospectiva com abordagem quantitativa, cujo os dados foram coletados da plataforma digital da SESPA. A população do estudo foram todos os óbitos confirmados da Covid-19 e que estejam registrados nas regionais de saúde do estado do Pará. Resultados: Foram registrados no estado do Pará 14.864 óbitos pela Covid-19, sendo das 13 Regionais de saúde, a que teve maior número de óbitos foi a Metropolitana I. No geral, a faixa etária mais acometida foi entre 60 a 80 anos ou mais, sendo o sexo masculino o que teve maior índice de morte com 59,14%.
