Effects of the application of pulsed combination therapy associated with medium frequency excitomotor current under the reduction of abdominal localized fat in women

Resumo: The present study investigated the effects of the application of combined therapy in a pulsed manner associated or not with the medium-frequency excitomotor current in women for the treatment of localized fat reduction, effects on blood pressure and on the autonomic nervous system. This is a clinical trial randomized study, made up of women who underwent combined therapy treatment over 12 combined. The variables analyzed were anthropometry, heart rate variability and blood pressure. With a decrease in localized fat in the group with an association of excitomotor current, HRV did not yield results, suggesting future studies with the cardiac population.

Se trata de un ensayo clínico aleatorizado, formado por mujeres que se sometieron a un tratamiento de terapia combinada durante 12 sesiones. Las variables analizadas fueron antropometría, variabilidad de la frecuencia cardíaca y presión arterial. Con una disminución de la grasa localizada en el grupo con una asociación de la corriente excitomotora, la VFC no mostró resultados significativos, lo que sugiere futuros estudios con la población cardíaca.O presente estudo investigou os efeitos da aplicação da terapia combinada de modo pulsado associado ou não à corrente excitomotora de média frequência em mulheres, para o tratamento de redução de gordura localizada, efeitos na pressão arterial e no sistema nervoso autônomo. Trata-se de um estudo ensaio clínico randomizado, formado por mulheres que realizaram o tratamento de terapia combinada ao longo de 12 sessões. As variáveis analisadas foram antropometria, variabilidade da frequência cardíaca e pressão arterial.
