Use of soil correctives and the recovery of degraded pasture of Braquiaria brizantha

Resumo: The raising of cattle in Brazil is one of the great pillars of the economy, in which every day the focus and greater availability of ideal food for consumption, generating better use of areas, thus increasing production per hectare. The objective of this work is to verify the efficiency of using soil correctives in the recovery of a degraded pasture. The experiment was carried out at Santa Barbara farm in the city of Orizona, Goiás, in a randomized block design, with three treatments of ten replications where the treatments were: control T1 without application of soil amendments; T2 – application of limestone 2.44 t ha-1; T3 - application of limestone 2.44 t ha-1 and agricultural gypsum 0.306 t ha-1. The planting of Brachiaria brizantha was carried out by broadcasting in the beginning of the rainy season with application of 10 kg ha-1, after 90 days of planting the material was collected. Forage collections were carried out with the aid of an iron square with a diameter of 1.0 m2, being released under the pasture area in 10 random points within each treatment. The contents of dry matter, crude protein, moisture, ether extract, crude fiber, mineral material, Ca%, P%, NDT% were evaluated. The work showed a positive result in the use of correctives (limestone + gypsum) with an increase of 21% greater production of dry matter and levels of macronutrients suitable for animal feed.

El objetivo de este trabajo es verificar la eficiencia del uso de correctivos de suelo en la recuperación de un pastizal degradado. El experimento se realizó en la finca Santa Bárbara de la ciudad de Orizona Goiás, en un diseño de bloques al azar, con tres tratamientos de diez repeticiones donde los tratamientos fueron: control T1 sin aplicación de enmiendas de suelo; T2 - aplicación de caliza 2,44 t ha-1; T3 - aplicación de caliza 2,44 t ha-1 y yeso agrícola 0,306 t ha-1. La siembra de Brachiaria brizantha se realizó por voleo en el inicio de la temporada de lluvias el 10 de noviembre de 2020 con aplicación de 10 kg ha-1, luego de 90 días de siembra se recogió el material. Las recolecciones de forrajes se realizaron con la ayuda de un cuadrado de hierro de 1.0 m2 de diámetro, siendo liberado bajo el área de pasto en 10 puntos aleatorios dentro de cada tratamiento. Se evaluó el contenido de materia seca, proteína bruta, humedad, extracto etéreo, fibra bruta, material mineral, %Ca, %P, %NDT. El trabajo mostró un resultado positivo en el uso de correctivos (piedra caliza + yeso) con un aumento de 21% mayor producción de materia seca y niveles de macronutrientes aptos para la alimentación animal.A criação de bovinos no Brasil e um dos grandes pilares da economia, no qual a cada dia o foco e a maior disponibilidade de alimento ideal para consumo, gerando melhor aproveitamento das áreas, aumentando assim a produção por hectare. O objetivo com esse trabalho foi verificar a eficiência do uso de corretivos do solo na recuperação de uma pastagem degradada. O experimento realizou se na fazenda Santa Barbara no município de Orizona Goiás, em delineamento experimental de blocos casualizados, com três tratamentos de dez repetições onde os tratamentos foram: T1 testemunha sem aplicação dos corretivos de solo; T2 – aplicação de calcário 2,44 t ha-1; T3 - aplicação de calcário 2,44 t ha-1 e gesso agrícola 0,306 t ha-1. O plantio da Brachiaria brizantha foi feita a lanço no início do período chuvoso com aplicação de 10 Kg ha-1, após 90 dias do plantio foi realizado a coleta do material. Foram realizadas as coletas da forragem com o auxílio de um quadrado de ferro com diâmetro de 1,0 m2, sendo lançado sob a área da pastagens em 10 pontos aleatórios dentro de cada tratamento. Foram avaliados os teores de matéria seca, proteína bruta, umidade, extrato etéreo, fibra bruta, material mineral, Ca%, P%, NDT%.
