Extension experience – pregnant women's health care in remote mode and in the context of Covid-19 pandemic

Resumo: The creation of this online community extension project is based on the idea of collaborating with mother-child care. Objective: to present an experience report of the activities developed in the extension project with pregnant women in the context of online physiotherapeutic care during the Covid-19 pandemic. Methods: this is the report of experiences derived from an extension project which belongs to a faculty of Physiotherapy from Rio Grande do Sul. Each attendance was composed of round table, therapeutic exercise and information leaflets. Results: Participated in this extension project 17 pregnant women from 18 to 37 years old. Pregnant women reported a sense of well-being, as well as, there were no adverse events. The experience was considered rewarding for the team. Conclusion: After this project’s conclusion, the graduation students experience was satisfactory and the strengthening of the extension activities as a social commitment.

Objetivo: presentar un relato de experiencia de las actividades desarrolladas en un proyecto de extensión a distancia con embarazadas con riesgo normal en el contexto de la pandemia de Covid-19. Métodos: este es el relato de la experiencia derivada de un proyecto de extensión perteneciente a la Facultad de Fisioterapia de una universidad de Rio Grande do Sul. Cada reuníon estaba compuesta de rueda de conversación, ejercicios terapéuticos y folletos Informativos. Resultados: El proyecto de extensión tuvo 17 gestantes en la franja etaria de 18 a 37 años. Las mujeres embarazadas reportaron sensación de bienestar y ningún evento adverso ocurrió en este proyecto. Para el equipo, la experiencia fue gratificante. Conclusión: Al finalizar el proyecto, la experiencia vivida por los alumnos resultó satisfactoria y fortaleció la extensión como compromiso social.A criação do projeto de extensão online baseou-se na ideia de contribuir com a atenção materno-infantil. Objetivo: apresentar um relato de experiência das atividades desenvolvidas em projeto de extensão online voltado a gestantes de risco habitual no contexto da pandemia de Covid-19. Metodologia: trata-se do relato da experiência derivada de projeto de extensão pertencente a faculdade de Fisioterapia de uma universidade gaúcha. Cada atendimento envolvia roda de conversa, exercícios terapêuticos e folhetos informativos. Resultados: O projeto de extensão teve 17 gestantes brasileiras na faixa etária de 18 a 37 anos. As gestantes relataram sensação de bem-estar e não houve evento adverso. Para a equipe, a experiência foi gratificante.
