Carbon stock in densimetric fractions of soil organic matter in different land use systems in Eastern Amazonia

Resumo: Studies have demonstrated that certain compartments of SOM are capable of detecting transformations in soil C contents with management, that is, with or without burning, but are able to detect, more quickly, observed reductions are generally greater than the observed, thus considering the total C content of the soil. The study was carried out in the eastern Amazon, Northeast of Pará, in Igarapé-Açu, yellow Latosol soil, in experimental areas of the communities of Cumaru, Nova Olinda (in properties of small rural producers) and UFRA-FEIGA. The use systems consist of 06 (six) treatments, which are: T1 CC (Cumaru Capoeira), T2 CSQT (Cumaru without comminuted burning), T3 CQ (Cumaru burning), T4 UFC (UFRA Capoeira), T5 UFSQT burned), T6UFQ (UFRA burning). As well as, some SAFs. Soils were sampled at depths of 0-5 cm, 5-10 cm and 10-20 cm. The densitometric fractions were separated for the determination of carbon contents by combustion in the LECO CHN-S TRUSTEC elemental analyzer. The variables were submitted to analysis of variance, compared with the SNK test with the SISVAR statistical program. The fraction that stored carbon was the free light in the systems where there was no burning, with its sensitivity of the soil management system, where there was a greater stirring of this fraction if it was less present. The light, free fraction concentrated by storing more carbon than the occluded fraction in function of its different mechanisms and chemical composition.

El trabajo tuvo como objetivo evaluar el stock de carbono de las fracciones densimétricas en diferentes sistemas, el estudio fue realizado en la Amazonía Oriental, Nordeste de Pará, en Igarapé-Açu, suelo Latosol Amarillo, en áreas experimentales de las comunidades de Cumaru, Nova Olinda (en propiedades de pequeños productores rurales) y UFRA-FEIGA. Los sistemas de uso constan de seis (06) tratamientos, que son: T1 CC (Cumaru Capoeira), T2 CSQT (Cumaru sin quemar triturado), T3 CQ (Cumaru quemando), T4 UFC (UFRA Capoeira), T5 UFSQT (UFRA sin quemar triturado), T6UFQ (UFRA quemando).  Así como algunos SAE. Se tomaron muestras de suelo a 0-5 cm, 5-10 cm y 10-20 cm de profundidad. Las fracciones densimétricas fueron separadas para la determinación del contenido de carbono por combustión en analizador elemental LECO CHN-S TRUSTEC, las variables fueron sometidas al análisis de varianza, comparadas por el test SNK con el programa estadístico SISVAR. La fracción que almacenó carbono fue la fracción libre de luz en los sistemas donde no hubo quema, siendo su sensibilidad al sistema de manejo del suelo, donde hubo mayor perturbación de esta fracción estuvo menos presente. La fracción ligera y libre concentrada almacena más carbono que la fracción ocluida debido a sus diferentes mecanismos y composición química.Estudos têm demonstrado que determinados compartimentos da MOS são capazes de detectar transformações nos conteúdos de C no solo com manejo, ou seja plantios com ou sem queima, entretanto são capazes de detectar, mais rapidamente, as reduções constatadas são, de modo geral, maiores que as observadas, considerando, assim, o conteúdo total de C do solo. O trabalho teve como objetivo avaliar estoque de carbono das frações densimétricas em diferentes sistemas, o estudo foi realizado na Amazônia Oriental, Nordeste do Pará, em Igarapé-Açu, solo Latossolo Amarelo, em áreas experimentais das comunidades de Cumaru, Nova Olinda (em propriedades de pequenos produtores rurais) e UFRA-FEIGA. Os sistemas de uso consistem em 06 (seis) tratamentos, que são: T1 CC (Cumaru Capoeira), T2 CSQT (Cumaru sem queima triturado), T3 CQ (Cumaru queima), T4 UFC (UFRA Capoeira), T5 UFSQT (UFRA sem queima triturado), T6UFQ (UFRA queima).  Bem como, algumas SAFs. Retirou-se amostras dos solos nas profundidades 0-5 cm, 5-10 cm e 10-20 cm. Separou-se as frações densimétricas para a determinação de teores de carbono por combustão em analisador elementar LECO CHN-S TRUSTEC, as variáveis foram submetidas à análise de variância, comparadas pelo teste de SNK com programa estatístico SISVAR. A fração que estocou carbono foi a leve livre nos sistemas onde não ocorreram queima, com sua sensibilidade do sistema de manejo do solo, onde houve maior revolvimento desta fração se fez menos presente.
