The chess game in the school context for students with visual impairment: a systematic review

Resumo: The present research, from a qualitative perspective, aimed to investigate the productions on chess related to the student with Visual Impairment (DV) in the school context, from research and studies already published, seeking to present reflections and discoveries that contribute to the practice of the game in the educational field. And in this sense, the study also helps in understanding the development of productions and publications in the investigated field. A literature review was carried out (Figueiredo, 1990) to identify what had already been published on the subject related to the educational field. The search was carried out through a virtual environment and delimited to the CAPES Periodicals Portal on January 9, 2022, using the keywords Chess and visual impairment. Eight works were found and after reading only three were analyzed because they relate to the investigated themes. After the analysis, we understand that the works contribute to show how the practice of Chess can be beneficial to students with VI in the school context, contributing to their development and the construction of knowledge in different areas. It is hoped that the contributions presented in the text can resonate in other pedagogical practices contributing to ethical, dignified and inclusive education.

Y en ese sentido, el estudio también ayuda en la comprensión del desarrollo de las producciones y publicaciones en el campo investigado. Se ha trabajado con revisión de literatura (Figueiredo, 1990) para identificar lo que ya había sido publicado sobre la temática relacionado al campo educacional. La búsqueda fue realizada por medio de ambiente virtual y delimitada al Portal de Periódicos de la CAPES en el día nueve de enero de 2022, utilizando las palabras-clave Ajedrez y DV. Fueron encontrados ocho trabajos y después de la lectura de solamente tres, fueron analizados por relacionaren las temáticas investigadas. Tras el análisis, comprendimos que los trabajos contribuyen para mostrar como la práctica del Ajedrez puede ser beneficiosa a estudiantes con DV en contexto escolar contribuyendo para su desarrollo y en la construcción de conocimientos en distintas áreas. Se espera que las contribuciones presentadas en el texto puedan resonar en otras prácticas pedagógicas contribuyendo con la educación ética, digna e inclusiva.A presente pesquisa, de perspectiva qualitativa, teve como objetivo investigar as produções sobre o Xadrez relacionado ao estudante com Deficiência Visual (DV) no contexto escolar, a partir de pesquisas e estudos já publicados, buscando apresentar reflexões e descobertas que contribuam com a prática do jogo no âmbito educacional. E nesse sentido, o estudo também auxilia na compreensão do desenvolvimento das produções e publicações no campo investigado. Trabalhou-se com revisão de literatura (Figueiredo, 1990) para identificar o que já havia sido publicado sobre a temática relacionado ao campo educacional. A busca foi realizada por meio de ambiente virtual e delimitada ao Portal de Periódicos da CAPES no dia nove de janeiro de 2022, utilizando as palavras-chave Xadrez e deficiência visual. Foram encontrados oito trabalhos e após leitura apenas três foram analisados por relacionarem as temáticas investigadas. Após a análise, compreendemos que os trabalhos contribuem para mostrar como a prática do Xadrez pode ser benéfica a estudantes com DV no contexto escolar contribuindo para seu desenvolvimento e na construção de conhecimentos em diferentes áreas.
